Whether or not she had intended to make a statement, there's no denying that Nicki Minaj's Roman Holiday performance - and subsequent exorcism - at the Grammys definitely raised some eyebrows!
But according to the rapper, she doesn't get the big deal - as the whole spectacle is just a preview of a movie on which she's written for her alter-ego!

Nicki Minaj debuted a new song from her upcoming album, Roman Reloaded, tonight at the 54th Grammy Awards, and took the religious motif to new levels on stage where she had her Roman personality essentially exorcised during the performance!

Check out the newly released red-band trailer for The Devil Inside (above), which focuses on a woman "searching for someone to help her understand what happened to her mother 20 years prior."
Obviously, she doesn't find out anything good.
