Gwyneth Paltrow really knows how to get the people talking!
According to a source, Paltrow has been gifting her 11-year-old daughter Apple Martin with regular facials. The actress' beauty specialist of choice is Hollywood go-to Sonya Dakar.
Dakar prides herself on a variety of treatments, including a snake venom facial to freeze muscles. A lot of fans compare the experience to receiving Botox.
While it's not clear if Martin has received this treatment herself, Sonya claims the celeb kid is a big fan of her work:
"She loves it. She said ‘Mummy, you have to go only to Sonya.' She's so into health."
Well, considering A.M. grew up with the woman who founded health-conscious Goop, we're not surprised!
The beauty expert went on to reveal that the Paltrow-Martins prefer the apple stem cell facial, an experience which includes light-emitting diode therapy. Translation: lightwaves stimulate the collagen in your face to reverse years of sun damage.
So, is Apple too young to be buying into a market typically reserved for middle-aged women? Do kids really need to work on reversing their sun damage?
A friend close to Goopster contends the facials are nothing more than mother-daughter bonding:
Gwyneth has seen Sonya countless times and believes prevention is better than cure.
"She looks better than ever and thinks it is never too early to start taking care of yourself. There is nothing invasive about the facials and Apple really enjoys them. It is simply a fun mother-daughter bonding day out and something they love doing together."
Inneresting! We wonder what ever happened to simple mani-pedis…
So, do YOU approve of a middle schooler getting facials?
