Animation took a break from its normal schedule of Domination this week, out of respect to those lost in the Sandy Hook tragedy.
New episodes of both Family Guy and American Dad were pulled and replaced with reruns.
Fox gave no explanation for why they were pulling the episodes. The Family Guy ep "Jesus, Mary, and Joseph" reportedly tells a more ridiculous version of the nativity story.
The sensitive nature of the American Dad episode mght be a little more obvious- "Minstrel Krampus" is about a demon that punishes naughty children at Christmastime.
The scheduled rerun of The Cleveland Show, an episode titled "Die Semi-Hard" was also pulled from the schedule, this time due to specific scenes of gun violence.

The final piece of animation domination is complete. Seth MacFarlane is invading Springfield!
The Family Guy creator will be a very special guest star on The Simpsons!
The 25th season premiere ep will feature
Peter Griffin Seth as a married lothario trying to get into Marge Simpson's pants! Er, little green dress.
Simpsons exec producer Al Jean says that though others have assumed a feud between the toons, there has never really been any bad blood. He says

Bieby, Bieby, Bieby, no!
Justin Bieber has had it rough the past few days!
Not only was he dogged on for his overalls, booed at his performance in his homeland of Canada and of course, still working on mending his broken heart — he also found himself in an all-out brawl!
Fret not, Beliebers! He’ll be okay! Justin’s fight was all just an animation!
Check out what happened (above) when Peter Griffin found Lois getting frisky with the Biebs on Sunday's Family Guy!
Aw…! Remember, though — no Biebers were harmed in the filming of this! LOLz!
We gotta say, they could’ve at least updated his hairstyle! Ha!

Hey, you remember that time Family Guy hit its 200th episode?
If this were an episode of Family Guy, we'd cut to a scene of that happening.
Anyway, it's true! The Seth MacFarlane animated juggernaut that just wouldn't stay cancelled is turning 200 on November 11th!
The one-hour 200th episode, entitled Yug Ylimaf, has Stewie and Brian desperately trying to save the world from a device Stewie built that makes time move backwards!
The night will be capped with a retrospective featuring clips and interviews with the cast and crew. Or possibly Seth MacFarlane doing their voices.

It wasn't his breakout feature Ted! Or his roughly 437 combined seasons of Family Guy and its spin-offs! It wasn't an Oscars or SNL hosting gig bumping him up into the top tier of celebrity-dom!
And it wasn't even his unimaginable ability to bag Emilia Clarke!
Do you know how we know Seth MacFarlane is officially a huge friggin' star???
The Porn Powers That Be begged him to host the AVN awards… and he summarily declined!
Being too big to play The Viper Room is one thing — it happens, everyone outgrows their first pair of britches — but too cool for the Adult Video News Awards in Sin City?!?
The AVNs are similar to the Oscars but, instead of rewarding people for

Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy, has been chosen as the next host of the Academy Awards!!!
And whom would be most proud of Seth? Why his dad of course!!!
And Daddy MacFarlane is happy for his son, but he also has some news for Seth, and it may or may not be even MORE important than being the host of the Academy Awards.
Find out what we're talking about by checking out the very funny clip directly (above) !!!
