In 2001, the actor purchased his Lake Como Villa in Laglio, Italy where he usually spends his springs and summers.
However, given all the media attention surround the 53-year-old and his lawyer wife, he wants to make sure he has enough privacy to enjoy his luxury retreat. And he has local authorities on his side!
Roberto Pozzi, the mayor of Laglio, has issued a new law that prohibits ANYONE from entering the Gravity star's property — including the Villa Oleandra and Villa Margherita houses.
If they're caught trespassing, they will face the outrageously expensive fine of 500 Euros, aka $600!
Damn! Being a stalker is freakin' pricey!
The big screen star is currently filming the Jodie Foster-directed movie Money Monster in Long Island, while Miz Amal is teaching at Columbia Law. Many sources claim that the photogenic twosome will head to their European love shack once they are done with their respective commitments.
When it comes to vacay, George and Amal don't mess around!
