And here we thought it would be so lovely to be around Anne Hathaway!

Guess things are not so pleasant when she has a dark and sad role like Fantine in Les Misérables.

In fact, Anne was so difficult to be around during Les Misérables, she’s lucky her now-hubby Adam Shulman went through with their recent wedding.

Anne recently revealed Adam had a lot to put up with when it came to how filming changed her. She admitted:

Anne Hathaway may play a prostitute in Les Misérables, but that doesn't mean her character Fantine doesn't care about animals!

Due to her hardcore vegan status, Anne required animal-free shoes for filming, which was no easy feet feat for the film's costume designer, Paco Delgado.

Delgado explained:

While not as exciting as the recently revealed trailer for Tom Hooper's Les Miserables featuring Anne Hathaway as Fantine in a heart-wrenching performance of I Dreamed A Dream, the OFFICIAL Les Mis poster (above) has also been released!

The poster is emblazoned with the production's signature drawing of a child, only this time up close and personal!

It's effective, but we would have liked to see something a little more creative than this, Hoops.

Production of the film adaptation of the musical Les Misérables is underway right now in London, England, and yesterday, while shooting at the Royal Navy College, paps caught Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman not only in full costume for their respective characters Fantine and Jean Valjean, but the pair performing the big finale number, Can You Hear The People Sing?
