Kate Beckinsale is just the fairest of all in the land of the punks!

The 39 year old strut her stuff at the Met Gala tonight in a red hot asymmetrical Alberta Ferretti dress that showed off a healthy amount of leg.

Lorraine Schwartz jewels, black Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a faboosh messy pompadour completed her look

Again, this isn't what we would consider punk, but there's no denying that Kate looks great.

Someone else missed the theme this year!

But considering Ashley Olsen is pretty much a master in the world of fashion, we're guessing Anna Wintour and the Met Gala will let her slide.

And maybe her own fashion line doesn't make punk clothing which is why she chose to wear a much more Bollywood-inspired dress by The Row!

Looking like a delicate darling, Ashley's dress is one of her better looks — since it's not a baggy sweater that completely makes her disappear!

We really think next year Ashley should make more of an effort to design herself a dress that actually works with the theme.

NO ONE is too good for a theme!

We soooo would've loved to see George Clooney all punked out!

But we guess seeing Stacy Keibler rock a far less glam goddess look than usual will do us well for now.

And she certainly went for something funky in her metallic Rachel Roy mini dress for the Met Gala!

With a messy, relaxed hairstyle, Stacy looked like a fashionable punk babe from the future!

The one thing we're not loving?

Those shoes…seriously…what are they doing on her feet?!

We weren't sure the Met Gala would be ready for Rita Ora!

But the rebellious darling played it surprisingly safe in this white Thakoon gown.

Luckily she kept it a little inneresting with sexy slits up her legs and another showing off her toned tummy.

We expected a major punk move from Rita, and even though she fell a little short, she looks totes beautiful with a red lip and gold accessories.

A few more slits would've been the perfect punk touch!

This is certainly a new Nicki Minaj!

While we're used to some boob, butt and legs from Mizz Minaj, the Met Gala was all about her hair!

Covered up in a navy blue Tommy Hilfiger gown, Nicki worked it in a whole new way.

Whether or not this works with the punk theme, the American Idol judge kept it fresh!

But we sure would've loved seeing that cray cray body on display wrapped up with some chains!

She might be in mommy mode, but the lady still knows how to work a red carpet — though, she's done better.

Jessica Alba usually pulls it together for a fashion moment, but this year's Met Gala wasn't really on point.

This Tory Burch "ink blot" printed gown just doesn't flatter her. Unfortunately, the other ladiez that dared going overboard with their cutouts for the Met's punk theme just did it better than Jessie.

A rare swing and miss — but at least its not AWFUL!
