Last we heard about the new Terminator, things were looking bleak because Arnold Schwarzenegger had asked his talent agency CAA to postpone all of his potential projects so he can take some time to deal with his giant mess.
Despite all of that, we're hearing that Megan Ellison, the woman who took over the Terminator franchise from Halcyon still wants to push forward with the next film in the franchise.
Given the fact that Fast Five director Justin Lin is attached to the project, it shouldn't come as a total surprise that Paul Walker is being mentioned as a possible new male lead. There's been no definitive word on what his role would be, but there's lots of speculation that he could play a young Kyle Reese.
For those who need a refresher, Reese was the male lead who took on Arnold with Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor) in the original Terminator movie.
Speaking of Arnold, we're still hearing that he's got a substantial role in the new Terminator, but it looks like they might cut down his role in an effort to get him to take on the project, despite his current unfortunate circumstances.
What do U think about all of this? Would U like to see Paul Walker in the next Terminator? Would U still like to see Arnold?
