VOTE: Which Of These Actors Deserves An Oscar Nomination This Year??

no title

Every year, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announces the films up for an Oscars — followed by the inevitable griping from fans over which actors were snubbed out of a well-deserved nomination.

This year will be no exception, as the big screen has been graced with far too many phenomenal performances in recent months for everyone to get the nod.

From Emma Stone's spellbinding performance as an aspiring actress in the musical La La Land to Denzel Washington's gripping portrayal of a self-loathing father who squashes his son's dreams in Fences, there are many solid frontrunners in this year's race.

This makes us so happy!

While Meryl Streep's iconic acceptance speech was the highlight of the 2017 Golden Globes… one of the other most talked about moments actually happened before the show even started.

Jenna Bush Hager caused controversy when she accidentally conflated the films Hidden Figures and Fences while speaking to the former's composer Pharrell on the NBC red carpet Sunday night.

Watch Jenna Bush Hager Get Teary-Eyed While Apologizing For 'Hidden Fences' Gaffe On The Golden Globes Red Carpet!

Hidden Figures and Fences may both be about American race relations in the 1950s and '60s, but they are NOT the same movie, people!

As you've probably seen by now, Jenna Bush Hager went viral for all the wrong reasons on Sunday when she accidentally referred to Pharrell's film as "Hidden Fences" on the 2017 Golden Globes red carpet!

Viola Davis Wins Best Supporting Actress At The 2017 Golden Globes — While Everyone Is Left Wondering About 'Hidden Fences'!

Is it just us or are they keeping the movie titles hidden at the Golden Globes?

Viola Davis took home the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the drama Fences on Sunday night, where she gave an eloquent speech about the importance of diverse storytelling.

And the actress' speech felt extra important, seeing as it came directly after someone accidentally said the nonexistent film title Hidden Fences — for the SECOND time of the night (Jenna Bush Hager messed it up first on the red carpet)!

When presenter Michael Keaton was sounding off on the nominees, he accidentally merged the titles of Hidden Figures with Fences — naming Octavia Spencer the nominee for Hidden Fences. Yeesh!

However, Davis didn't bat an eye at Keaton's flub and still delivered a poised and gracious speech! Ch-ch-check it out (above)!

Denzel Washington Gets VERY Dramatic Reading Greeting Cards On The Tonight Show! Watch The Oscar Winner Work!

no title

When it comes to delivering dramatic monologues, King Kong ain't got sh*t on Denzel Washington!

So, when the Oscar winner stopped by The Tonight Show on Monday, Jimmy Fallon used his guest's talents the only way he knows how — by making him perform a dramatic reading of some not-so-dramatic greeting cards!

The Fences star gets EXTREMELY into character in the clip, whipping out his reading glasses before putting a dramatic spin on silly cards with an Old School British accent.

Fallon tries his best, but the late night host just can't compete with the veteran actor — who bows, kicks, and even sings his way through the very dramatic performances.

Bravo, fellas!! Ch-ch-check out the funny clip (below)!

Denzel Opens On Broadway To Mixed Reviews

denzelwenn5467609.jpg

Yikes!

Denzel Washington's long awaited return to the Great White Way is not turning out the way he had hoped.

His play Fences opened yesterday to very mixed reviews, with his performance getting the most ridicule. Some critics are calling Denzel's performance "commanding" while others maintain that he portrays a rather "hollow" version of his character next to his predecessor, James Earl Jones.

Not really the kind of thing you want to hear on your first night out of the gate. Also not the kind of thing you want to hear when you have already shelled out $325 for a ticket!

Hopefully, Denzel can pull it together and turn this thing around.
