Food has more of an affect on your body than how skinny you are! Did U know that some food can actually help your libido?

With the most romantic day of the year just a day away, Margaux J. Rathbun has some nutrition information for all the lovers out there! The nutritional therapy practitioner writes:

Looking to spice things up this Valentine’s Day? In addition to living a healthy, balanced life, there are certain foods that have been known to spice things up in the bedroom!

- Oysters are one of the more well-known foods that serve as an aphrodisiac. They are full of zinc, which can help produce sperm and increase libido in both men and women.

- Honey contains a lot of B vitamins and minerals that aid in getting people aroused.

- Try cooking with basil; it's been said to increase fertility. Make homemade pesto spreads with garlic, another aphrodisiac, and add it to pasta or use it on chicken dishes.

- Get things pumping' with ginger. This well-known spice gets the circulatory system flowing. Its spicy flavor is great in salads or even cooked with fish. Ginger also helps with digestion. We all know how un-sexy it is to feel bloated and full.

- Sugar, spice and everything nice? Not when you're cooking with nutmeg! A sprinkle of nutmeg on your dinner, dessert or even your date is sure to raise their body temperature and heat up the evening. Add it to a hot cup of cocoa or coffee for an after-dinner treat and watch the clothes melt off.

- Given the shape, it's not shocking to learn that bananas are said to stimulate the sex drive in men. Besides being loaded with potassium, magnesium and B vitamins, they also contain components that help arouse the boys. Go bananas, ladies!

- Want to put your man in the mood? Serve him wild yams or pumpkin seeds, two foods that have been said to help with get men going.

- Want to attract the ladies? It's been said that the scent of almonds arouses women. Gentlemen, maybe it's time to invest in a nice big bottle of almond oil?

Indian Woman Wrongly Diagnosed With HIV Wins Court Case

Blood test

This must have been a terrifying experience!

A married woman in India was told by a fertility doctor in 2003 that she had tested positive for HIV after undergoing routine blood tests. Fortunately, a second and third opinion revealed she did NOT have the disease, but the damage was done.

Court documents reveal she was "insulted, humiliated, harassed by all and subjected to untold mental cruelty," after receiving the diagnosis.

She initially took the doc responsible to court was awarded compensation from the fertility specialist. However, the doctor argued that she instructed the plaintiff to come back in 15 days to confirm the blood test results. Since no documents were made available to support this counterargument, the judge thankfully sided with the woman wrongly diagnosed with HIV.

Ruling that there was both negligence and deficiency of service on the doctor's part because she disclosed positive test results of a serious infectious disease without any confirmation, the judge recently awarded the plaintiff 1 lakh, or about $2,500.

We can't imagine getting that awful news only to find out it wasn't actually true. "Really pissed off," definitely comes to mind, so we totally agree with this ruling. Hopefully this doctor won't jump the gun and incorrectly diagnose a life threatening disease next time she gives a patient a blood test.

Nicole Kidman Struggled With Fertility

Nicole Kidman fertility struggle

In a recent interview, the Oscar winner and current Best Actress contender, Nicole Kidman, opened up about her struggles with fertility over the years.

The mother of four welcomed the newest addition to her family, baby Faith, on Dec. 28 through a gestational carrier, but says she "had a roller coaster ride with fertility" beginning with a miscarriage before she split with Tom Cruise in 2001.

She explained on Australia's 60 Minutes last night:

"Anyone that's been in the place of wanting another child or wanting a child knows the disappointment, the pain and the loss that you go through trying and struggling with fertility. Fertility is such a big thing, and it's not something I've ever run away from talking about."

Although she was able to give birth to her 2-year-old daughter Sunday Rose with her husband Keith Urban, Kidman revealed the couple turned to a surrogate because of her fertility struggles, saying:

"We were in a place of desperately wanting another child. This opportunity arose for us, and I couldn't get pregnant."

Well, we are so happy that, despite the struggle, U were able to have another child, bb!

The Rabbit Hole star went on to explain her love for her children, saying:

"Children are children — you'll die for your children — and when you feel that as parent, that's the unconditional love."

Aww! Sounds like those kids are in good hands!
