If you're one of those people who love all things gore, you were probably disappointed when you learned that Divergent director, Neil Burger, cut an especially bloody scene from the movie.

Yep, poor Edward woke up to find a knife lodged in his eyeball…talk about painful and gross!

The horrific scene, now included in the soon to be released DVD, shows Tris and Christina trying to comfort Edward as he writhes in pain.

Dark Knight Rises costume designer reveals bane has deleted scenes

While The Dark Knight Rises had some flaws, we really did enjoy it and thought it was a fantastic close to a fantastic superhero trilogy.

Even though the movie was already long at 164 minutes (we could have watched 184), one thing we thought that could have used some more screen time was Bane's backstory. However, if Christopher Nolan releases a director's cut on DVD, then we might get our wish.

Costume designer Lindy Hemming revealed that there was a lot about the character's past that was shot, but (unbeknownst to her since she hadn't seen the movie yet) ultimately cut in the editing room.

Check out what secrets she told GQAFTER THE JUMP!
