Idol down!!! MAY DAY. IDOL DOWN!!!

One of America's most successful reality television shows, American Idol, could be thisclose to reality TV heaven.

Let's just say AI is not having a great season!

The long-running show has been at the top of the viewership for YEARS now, but last night the singing competition had the its lowest ratings in 11 years!!!

We guess people weren't interested in rocking and rolling because even though Rock Night was filled with classic faves like the Rolling Stones, Queen, and Bon Jovi, that still wasn't enough to draw in an audience.

While Idol tends to see a climb in the ratings as the season ends, it has only dipped

During last night's extended AI episode, half of the 10 semi-finalists kissed their Idol dreams goodbye…

But ten were chosen to continue on in the musical competition!

Ever since X Factor completed its second season, finalists Emblem3 have been making major waves in the music world!

The group — which consists of brothers Wesley and Keaton Stromberg and Drew Chadwick — came in at fourth place during the show and have since signed with Simon Cowell’s label, Syco Music, and Columbia Records!

Just last week, the boys kicked off their West Coast promo tour, selling out at the Roxy in El Lay and continuing to immediately sell out shows in Pomona, San Diego, Philly, NYC, New Jersey, Boston and two shows in Chicago!

Wow! It sounds like the guys are definitely well on their way to seeing a lot more success!

Their upcoming debut album is being produced by Benji and Joel Madden, along with Savan Kotecha, who many Directioners know for producing some of One Direction’s number one hits!

After they wrap up their current tour in Chicago on March 27th, they’ll be hitting the road again for their Goin’ Back 2 Cali tour in April!

Oh boy… Simon Cowell MUST have been shizzing himself last night!

Looks like the MLB National League Championship Series have messed with Wednesday night’s TV lineup… leaving audiences confused and fuming!!

X Factor fans tuned into the show last night at 8pm, expecting to find out if their favorites made it through to the live shows round.

However, what east coast viewers got instead was PART of the ep — which started late — and The Mindy Project!

West coast XF fans ended up just seeing a rerun of last week’s episode, while east coasters spoiled Britney, L.A. and part of Demi’s eliminations all over Twitter and Facebook!
