A woman and her family were stopped at a red light and saw a double decker freight train pass by.
The woman saw what she thought was trash stuck to the top of the train. Then the trash stood up and started moving.
She realized it was a puppy. A black lab puppy. She said:
"There's no question it was a puppy."
She immediately called 911 and followed the train for 6 miles until the firefighters arrived. They stopped the train, which had been moving at 50 mph.
The firemen used their extension ladder to go up and get the puppy down. The assistant fire chief said:
It took nine men, pulling on two ropes to get just one moose out of a backyard swimming pool.
The moose weighed an estimated 1,800 pounds and when they pulled on the ropes around his antlers, he just pulled back.
Check out the above video of a heroic moose rescue.

Inspired! We remember when she sang the song during Obama's campaign in 2008 - she killed it! How lovely that this is bringing the song back for such a noble cause.
We'll definitely being downloading this tonight! Bless you, Queen B, for all you do!
