On a recent Delta flight, we're pretty sure no one expected two penguins to strut down the aisle!

And we're also sure not a single person said:

"I'm tired of these mothereffin penguins on this mothereffin plane!"

These penguins, Penny and Peter were on their way to the New York premiere of Frozen Planet!

So cute! They should do that on every flight!

If you're planning to go on an airplane, and are thinking about taking your pet with you, think again if you're flying Delta.

A new report by the U.S. Department of Transportation has released the Air Travel Consumer Report.

The report shows that 35 animals died in-flight while in the checked baggage cargo hold.

And 19 of those 35 were on a Delta flight!!

The second most deadly airline was American which had only 5.

A Delta spokesman explained that they carry more pets than other airlines, thus the higher numbers.

We think there is no excuse for any pet death during a flight.

Ripples the tabby cat got loose in a Canadian airport when workers checking his crate only closed half the latches.

Being the escape artist that most cats are, he easily got out and ran right into a flight!

He ran into the cockpit, under the pilot's feet and into the instrumentation!

A ground crew actually had to be called in to remove some panels and free the cat.

On a recent flight, in first class, Al Roker refused to swap seats with Stine Schyberg, the wife of Van Halen's Alex Van Halen so the couple could sit together.

He refused to switch seats because that would have brought him one seat closer to a small dog in a crate that was a row behind and three seats over.

Because he said he's allergic to dogs.

Now it seems some are questioning the truth of that statement.

This is due to the fact that he pitched an idea for a dog reality show back in 2005.

Tinkerbell, Paris Hilton's dog, looks a little nervous, even though we're sure she flies more often than most other dogs.

The cute couple were gearing up for a holiday getaway in Aspen.

Paris said:

"Jetting off to Aspen with Tinkerbell & my family. Tink's is a nervous flyer."

Even though she just spent some time in Europe visiting France, Italy and Slovenia, she's glad to be back home with her furry buddies.

When she got back, she tweeted:

"Feels good to be home! All my pets are so happy and excited to see me! Love them so much!"
