Gawd works in mysterious ways!
The Seaside Heights boardwalk, the New Jersey tourist attraction that provided the Jersey Shore cast with booze and GTL for years, has been completely destroyed. At least 26 people have lost their lives, and over 5 million are without power — But somehow, through all, the Jersey Shore's "Shore House" has survived Frankenstorm unharmed!

Lindsay Lohan was wondering why everyone was "in such a panic" about Hurricane Sandy and here's an unfortunate answer for her.
Twenty-six people have reportedly died from the "Frankenstorm" in the U.S., while 6-7 million are without power in the “the largest storm related outage in our history.”
Much of the New York City area is underwater and West Virginia has been buried in snow. Beach communities suffered the most though.

Sunday was way too wet in Hollywood.
We realize we don't have to experience the perils of MaMa Nature and her flow as much as the rest of the country, but because of this, we become accustomed to sunny weather.
So when it rains, our bodies can't handle it. Excuse us, let's rephrase. When it pours all day and all night long, we can't handle it.
Seriously, even the LAX tunnel had a fit and flooded!
But Jason Schwartzman and his dog still decided to go out for a walk. They must have thought the gloomy weather would discourage being seen, but clearly that isn't the case. Cute dog!

Two bison at ZooAmerica are confirmed casualties of the flooding in Hershey, PA.
They were swimming, barely keeping their heads above the water. The zoo workers tried their hardest to save the animals.
A witness said:
"The water, of course, kept getting higher and higher and they were just trying to keep their head above water, and at one point they had a rope and they were just trying to hook that around the horn of the bison."
They were unable to save the bison, though.
The zoo workers stayed the whole night, caring for the animals they were able to rescue.
Check out the above video for more details and eye witness accounts.
