Santa Angelina Donates $100,000 To Aid Pakistan

As we previously reported, Angelina Jolie was bringing awareness to the devastating flood in Pakistan. The UNHCR goodwill ambassador is now donating $100,000 of her own money to benefit the cause.

Santa Angelina Spreading Awareness Of Pakistani Flood

When a tragedy strikes, Angelina Jolie is always ready to drop the movie star role for her job as UNHCR goodwill ambassador.

And she is rightfully concerned considering the devastation due to the floods in Pakistan. The disaster has claimed the lives of 2,000 while affected another 20 million people.

Angie said:

"This one is really one that we really have to urgently get in there and try and do what we can. We'll financially help, we'll try to figure out which is the best group, we'll probably do HCR and hope to visit and go when the attention dies down and maintain the attention. Because it's millions and millions of people who'll be uprooted for a very, very long time."

Tim And Faith Help Nashville!


As a response to the devastating flooding in Nashville, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will lending a helping hand. The two have organized a special concert on June 22 to raise money to benefit the city.

The show, entitled Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert For Flood Recovery, will be held at the city's Bridgestone Arena. Performers include Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and LeAnn Rimesfor starters.

Hosts McGraw and Hill said:

"The damage that we've seen to people's homes and the effect that the flooding has had on their lives is unimaginable. But we've seen the spirit of our community firsthand, as volunteers, church groups and our local business leaders rally to help.

We all need to continue to support those in need in any way that we can, and for that reason we could not be more appreciative to all of the artists, the companies and the people behind the scenes who collectively will make June 22 a truly special night."

T-Swizzle Donates Half Million To Flood Victims!

She's got such a great heart!

Although she didn't move to Nashville until she was 14, Taylor Swift considers the city home. And to fix her beloved city, Taylor donated $500,000 to help flood victims.

The country singer said:

"Being at home during the storm, I honestly could not believe what was happening to the city and the people I love so dearly, Nashville is my home, and the reason why I get to do what I love. I have always been proud to be a Nashvillian, but especially now, seeing the love that runs through this city when there are people in crisis."

30 people have been killed due to floods in three states. Taylor's donation will go to various relief organizations helping with the devastation.

Ke$ha Doing Something Good

Ke$ha has announced that she will be performing at a flood benefit concert in Nashville on June 16th. All profits will go to help family and animals affected by the flood.

The singer said:

“I'm thrilled to announce that I will be playing a show to help benefit Nashville, my hometown. 100% of the profits from ticket sales will go to help the victims of these devastating floods. Nashville helped shape me as an artist and as a person and my love for this city is beyond words. I will continue to do anything I can to help rebuild this city and support the families and animals who have been affected by this tragedy."

Hardcore Ke$ha devotees can even pay $100 for a meet and greet with her.

Such a great cause! Way to go, bb.
