Diddy Releases An Official Statement On His UCLA Showdown After The Alleged Reason Behind The Attack Comes To Light
We still can't get over how random this drama is!
On Tuesday, Diddy released an official statement regarding his arrest at UCLA for allegedly attacking his son's football coach, Sal Alosi. The rapper's main argument is that he acted in self-defense and to protect his mini-me, Justin Combs.
The mogul's rep explained:
"The various accounts of the events and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate. What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son. We are confident that once the true facts are revealed, the case will be dismissed."
Hmm interesting!! It's hard to say what really went down between the trio considering they're the only witnesses! Hopefully we'll find out more when Dids heads to court on July 13.
As for what motivated Combs to reportedly attack the coach with a kettlebell? A source revealed that Alosi was unjustly harsh towards Justin, saying:
"I don't care if your dad's here. This is UCLA. I'm going to treat you just like I treat everyone else."
While Sal not playing favorites is understandable, the singer's beef is that the coach appeared like he wanted to embarrass JC in front of his teammates.
It's safe to assume that Diddle and the coach got into a heated argument regarding the incident which ultimately lead to violence.
We just hope this drama can be resolved for the sake of Justin — we imagine this conflict must be hard to deal with!
