This is scandalous in so many ways!
Carolyn Giles, a model with a decade long career, is suing Volvo, Hertz and her modeling agency, Ford Models for $23 million, after her image was licensed out out to other companies for use — like an escort service in down under!
According to Giles, the photo was exclusively taken for the advertising of Volvo's S40 model car, but then turned up in an ad for an Australian dating website, that labeled her as a "Swedish escort." Naturally, Giles has been going bananas since.
What makes matters worse is

Kris Humphries must be one proud brother!
The soon-to-be ex Mr. Kardashian's sister Kaela Humphries recently shot the campaign for The Limited's plus-size line eloquii, making it her first major gig since signing with Ford Models' plus-size division last month.
After seeing these two shots, we think it's pretty obvious the camera likes her.
Congrats!

Crystal Renn has traded in her dark brown locks for a bottle of peroxide!
The supermodel showed off her new bleach blonde locks while on vacation in the Bahamas this weekend and we can't say we're loving it.
Fingers crossed this is just a temporary change!
What do U think of Crystal's hair? Is it a do or a don't???

Despite the whirlwind of negative publicity Kris Humphries garnered through his reality divorce with Kim Kardashian, his sister made it through with a modeling contract!
Yes, Kaela Humphries has signed with Ford Models in their Ford + division.
The agency announced the news in a press release:
The division that brought you Crystal Renn, Ashley Graham, Candice Huffine, and Marquita Pring among others is excited at the prospect of bringing this beautiful, engaging young woman to markets worldwide. A true size 16-18, Kaela will be in a league of her own.
Kaela earned attention in the modeling industry at the Richie Rich fashion show when she walked their catwalk during New York Fashion Week. She was also on the semi-reality show Remodeled.
Best of luck to her!
Do U think her reality ties helped her???

This is getting ugly.
Modeling agencies including Next, Ford, Click and Wilhelmina are getting lawsuit happy for allegedly poaching models from their competition.
Agencies are also suing their former clients for breach of contract.
So why is this happening?
The recession of course!
Suzie Sugerman, who has booked models in the past, explains:
"It's become more problematic if a girl goes to a big agency. Because of the recession, girls aren't working the way they used to."
However, PR maven Kelly Cutrone says agencies shouldn't be getting all the blame. She told the NY Post:
"I'm less sure that the agencies are poaching than the girls are moving. You don't see CAA crying all the time if they lose an actor to William Morris. It's free enterprise. Contracts don't mean s- - -. They're semi-binding agreements for people who have the money to go to court. No one wants any of these cases to get in front of a jury. It's a game — time-out the other person and drain all their money."
She makes an excellent point, but we have a feeling this whole "poaching" scandal won't be coming to an end anytime soon.
