LeBron James Alley-Oops OVER Another Player!

This is pret-ty impressive!

While battling it out with the Chicago Bulls on Sunday night, Miami Heat's LeBron James jumped over Bulls' point guard John Lucas (who is just an inch short of 6 feet tall) for an awesome alley-oop from Dwyane Wade in the first quarter of the game!

It definitely helped them get the game started on the right foot because Miami went on to beat Chicago 97-93.

Check out the very cool vertical leap in the video clip above!

Needless to say, this guy must have played A LOT of leapfrog back in his younger days! LOLz!

Hockey Player Rick Rypien Passes Away

Rick Rypien

Such sad news for the hockey community!

Winnipeg Jets forward Rick Rypien, who more famously played with the Vancouver Canucks for 6 years, passed away after an apparent suicide.

At just 27-years-old, he was found dead in his home on Monday and authorities have determined the circumstances to be a “non-suspicious sudden death.”

Although he left the Canucks to join the Winnipeg Jets as a free agent over the summer, the Vancouver organization had nothing but kind words, saying:

"It is with tremendous sadness that the Vancouver Canucks confirm the passing of Rick Rypien. Rick has been a beloved member of the Canucks’ family for the past six years. Rick was a great teammate and friend to our players, coaches and staff. We send our deepest condolences to the Rypien family at this most difficult time.”

Rick struggled with mental health issues throughout his career and even had to take a leave of absence from the team last November because of whatever personal demons he was facing. Unfortunately, it seems it may have been those personal demons that cut his life short.

Our heart goes out to the talent hockey player's friends and family during this difficult time and wish them the best as they deal with their loss. Rest in peace, Rick!

QuickFit Tip Of The Day

Blue 1

Life is 3-dimensional; you need to train your body accordingly. Train your body in all three planes of motion (sagittal, frontal, transverse). This means you need to incorporate exercises that have your body move forward and backward, side to side, and rotationally.

Is The Duffster's Man Retiring From Hockey?

According to the Penguins' general manager, he very well may be!

Hilary Duff's husband, Mike Comrie, was signed to the hockey team as a free agent this past summer, but only played as a forward 21 games this season, scoring once, due to injury!

Because of this, Ray Shero has decided to not bring him back, as well as Alex Kovalev.

He explains:

"I'm not sure what Mike's going to do. He might be leaning towards retirement."

Too bad!

But we imagine both he and the Duffster have more than enough money, so it shouldn't be too huge an issue if he takes some time and decides to try something else!

Best of luck, boy!
