This just keeps getting worse.

The body of Monica Beresford-Redman, the wife of Survivor producer Bruce Beresford-Redman, was discovered in a sewer below a Cancun hotel days after she went missing during a family vacation.

Since then, quite a bit of evidence has made Bruce the primary suspect, and he's currently stuck in Mexico as the case is investigated.

Monica's sister, Carla Burgos, previously revealed that Monica had discovered her husband was having an affair, and now claims that the mistress was a co-worker on the reality series!

Awful!

We have a really bad feeling that this awful tragedy is going to have a lot more horrific twists before we officially know what went down.

Yesterday we were horrified and saddened to discover that Survivor producer Bruce Bresford-Redman's wife, Monica, was found dead in a sewer at the Cancun resort where the couple were vacationing, and police arrested the 38 year old after uncovering some seriously shady evidence that left him looking very guilty!

Quintana Roo state investigator Veronica Acacio announced today that Beresford-Redman has been released from jail, but will not be allowed to leave the country because he's still under criminal investigation.

Attorney General Francisco Alor has also released details on the state of Monica's body, which apparently displays signs of asphyxiation and a blow to the right temple.

Combine that with her husband's alleged affair, their reported arguing Sunday, the scratches on his arm, and the two days unaccounted for in between Monica's last sighting and him finally reporting her missing…we obviously won't jump to conclusions, but we think everyone can agree that things do not look good!

So tragic. Our thoughts our with Monica's family and friends during this difficult time.
