Haters gonna hate, but Leah Michele don't care if you've got a problem with her weight!
The Glee actress defended her small frame in the December issue of Allure, in which she professes:
"I'm half-Italian. I can eat some bitches under the table!"
She may be skinny, but it's most likely due to her regular fitness routines, as well as her strict vegan diet, which can consist of more food than people think. "People get confused," she says. "[They assume] I just eat grass."
Her body was particularly under fire for being too skinny in the summer of 2010, but Leah assures her weight loss was simply a side effect of jaw surgery.
That summer wasn't the first time Leah's appearance was challenged. Early in her career a manager requested she get a nose job, which she promptly refused, explaining:
"Have I been asked to change anything? Uh-huh. Uh-huh. When I was 15, my mother and I went to meet a manager who said, 'You have to get a nose job in order for me to work with you. My mother would say to me, 'Barbra Streisand never got a nose job. You're not getting a nose job.' And this was before I really even knew who Barbra was. I just knew that she was, like, the messiah for girls like me."
