OF COURSE Katy Perry Is Collaborating With Calvin Harris For His New Album!

Calvin Harris and Katy Perry

So much shade, so little time.

On Tuesday, Calvin Harris announced his star-studded lineup of collaborations for his upcoming album, Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, which will be out for your listening pleasure on June 30.

So who are the "greatest artists of our generation" who offered services for the project? Well, the better question is who isn't the producer working with?

From Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, Kehlani, Future, Pharrell, Big Sean, John Legend, Khalid, Migos, Schoolboy Q, Ariana Grande, Young Thug, D.R.A.M., Nicki Minaj, Lil Yachty, Jessie Reyez, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Snoop Dogg — we'd say Calvin is covering all of his bases!

But that's not all as the 33-year-old has also enlisted the help of his ex Taylor Swift's rumored arch nemesis, Katy Perry, to really take things to the next level! This song should be shady AF!

Calvin Harris' New Collaboration With Frank Ocean & Migos Makes You Want To Slide Around! LISTEN!

calvin harris new song slide

Calvin Harris pulled out some big names for his latest single!

On Thursday, Taylor Swift's ex dropped his new collaboration, named Slide, which features Frank Ocean and Migos. While the track doesn't necessarily scream "Top 40," it does offer up a mellow, kick-back vibe. We mean, it's the kind of jam you want to blast while cruising around in your car.

Now, we LOVE that Ocean decided to work with the Scottish DJ, but we are a little shocked to see that the two industry vets decided to make music with Migos — ESPECIALLY after the unsupportive things the hip-hop group had to say about iLoveMakonnen following his coming out announcement. Like c'mon, Frank, you are an important member in the LGBTQ community.

Nonetheless, be sure to ch-ch-check out the new song for yourself (below)!

Grammys Head Honcho Neil Portnow Doesn't Think There's A 'Problem With Race At All' Following Beyoncé Snub

Neil Portnow

The last black artist to win Album of the Year at the Grammys was Herbie Hancock in 2008, and the last black woman was Lauryn Hill in 1999.

But still — the President of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, Neil Portnow, doesn't think "there's a race problem at all" with the voting system.

In an interview with Pitchfork this week following Beyoncé's controversial snub and boycotts from artists like Frank Ocean, Portnow commented on the award show's apparent shut-out of minority artists.

In her tweet, the 30-year-old posted a link to Frank Ocean's Tumblr post slamming the ceremony for giving the 2016 award to Taylor Swift's 1989 over Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly.

However, Miz Knowles isn't finished voicing her opinion.

On Monday, in a now-deleted tweet, Solange brings up a starling fact regarding the prestigious music award show. She wrote:

Solange Is Not Here For 'Cultural Bias' At The Grammys Following Beyoncé's Huge Upset!

Beyonce and Solange

We still can't believe Beyoncé didn't take home the Album Of The Year award last night at the Grammys — and honestly, neither can anyone else, including Adele!

As you may remember, Frank Ocean penned a powerful message about the reason he chose to boycott "music's biggest night," calling out the showrunners' "cultural bias."

Right after Bey's snub, her little sister Solange took to Twitter with a link to the Blonde singer's rant, saying:

Grammys 2017: Frank Ocean Slams Producers In Vicious Response After Being Called Out For His 'Faulty' 2013 Performance

Nothing quite like starting off the Grammys with a good bit of drama!!

Frank Ocean went on Tumblr late last night and posted a vicious statement calling out Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich and show writer David Wild by name, and it's got everybody talking now just before this year's show!!

It all started when Ehrlich and Wild granted an interview with Rolling Stone in which they called out Ocean by name for his long-standing boycott of the show — and linked it back to Ocean's woeful 2013 performance at the event.

Now, Ocean is striking back to their allegations that his performance was "hands down one of the most ‘faulty' TV moments I've seen," in the producers' words.

On Tumblr last night, Ocean went off, writing out this statement in full in which he called out the producers, Taylor Swift, the entire awards show process, and much, much more:

And The Award For Worst Father EVER Goes To…

no title

We feel so bad for Frank Ocean

As we reported last year, the musician penned a touching Tumblr post after the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida. In the essay, the 29-year-old speaks openly about his personal experiences with homophobia, including an incident where his father — Calvin Cooksey — made a derogatory statement to a transgender waitress when he was merely a child.

The rapper wrote:

"I was six years old when I heard my dad call our transgender waitress a f*ggot as he dragged me out a neighborhood diner saying we wouldn't be served because she was dirty."

Fast forward to Thursday, Ocean's father is suing his son for $14.5 million based on what he wrote!

Cooksey's defamation lawsuit not only discredits Frank's story, it claims the post has damaged Calvin's opportunities in the film and music industry.

Sadly, this isn't the first time the artist's father has filed a crazy lawsuit. In 2014, he sued Russell Simmons for $142 million after his website — Global Grind — called him a deadbeat dad.

It's always sad when money comes between a family…
