new image released from frankenweenie

So cute…and creepy!

Back in October, we got a first look at Tim Burton's next animated film Frankenweenie, which is based on a live-action short film of the same name that he directed back in 1984.

As we mentioned before, the story revolves around a boy who loses his dog, but then brings him back to life using his science kit, like Mary Shelley's Frankenstein!

Now, a new image from the upcoming black-and-white Frankenfilm

OMG! These Pumpkins Sing LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem!

Looks like the owners of this Riverside, CA house have set the bar pret-ty high for Halloween decorations!

Check out the video (above) of a light show featuring pumpkins singing LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem!!!

Their neighbors better step up their game. We're thinking a Jack-O-Lantern isn't gonna cut it.

…Perhaps a holographic Frankenstein monster performing Coldplay's Every Teardrop is a Waterfall???

A Night Frankenstein At The Museum! Shawn Levy To Direct New Frankie Flick

shawn levy directing frankenstein movie

There are SO many Frankenstein projects in the works, we can't even keep track anymore!

We're not particularly enthused to announce that A Night at the Museum director Shawn Levy has just signed on to direct a new Frankenstein movie for Fox.

Other directors who were in the running included Bourne director Paul Greengrass and Harry Potter director David Yates, but in the end Shawn Levy seemed like he'd make the studio the most money be the best candidate.

Does this mean that you'll no longer be directing Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, Shawn???

What do U think? Is the Night at the Museum director the right guy for Frankenstein?

frankenstein coming to nbc

Could this be the beginning of a bunch of new Frankenstein projects?

Will they go the Twilight route next and create a romance project based on Bride of Frankenstein? Maybe they can just call it Bride in an effort to be hip. LOLz.

In the meanwhile,

Danny Boyle's Stage Adaptation Of Frankenstein Coming To The US

And you really, REALLY don't want to miss this, from what we've heard!

Because of the wild success Danny Boyle's adaptation of Frankenstein has gotten in the UK, at the end of March, select theaters across the US will be broadcasting performances for our enjoyment.

Critics have raved about Danny's interpretation of the piece, as well as his casting stunt to switch the main actors who play Dr. Frankenstein and his creature during select performances. Since there is this twist, there will be two separate performances to get tickets for: March 17th and March 24th.

To see when and where a performance will be shown near you, CLICK HERE for details.

If you don't think the show will interest you, take a look at the trailer (above)…and think again!

Thoughts?
