Freddie Gray's Killers Officially Get Away With It As Prosecutors Drop All Remaining Charges Against Police

It really seems like there's no justice in the world sometimes.

Freddie Gray became one of the first high profile victims of the current wave of Police brutality when he was killed in the back of a Police van in Baltimore back in April of 2015 .

The 25-year-old was arrested for allegedly carrying around a switchblade… but was somehow killed due to injuries to his spinal cord before he ever made it to the station.

Of the six officers initially charged with varying degrees of responsibility in the homicide, three had already been acquitted prior to this week… and unfortunately, the three remaining cops just got off as well.

Baltimore Chief Deputy State's Attorney Michael Schatzow made the controversial decision to drop the charges against officers Garrett Miller, Alicia White, and William Porter on Wednesday after seeing how unlikely any convictions would be since Circuit Judge Barry G. Williams had already pardoned officers Edward Nero and Caesar Goodson as well as Lt. Brian Rice through totally not corrupt bench trials.

The medical examiner literally ruled Freddie's death a homicide… yet, once again, none of the people responsible for his murder are being held accountable.

Still think the Black Lives Matter movement is in the wrong??

Rest in peace, Freddie.

Things have not been good in court for Freddie Gray's family and supporters.

The Baltimore man died in police custody after being arrested last April, but so far, aside from a financial settlement, the Baltimore City Police Department has not been found at fault.

Today, Caesar Goodson Jr., the officer driving the van in which Gray sustained a severe neck and spinal cord injury, was found not guilty of second-degree murder by Judge Barry Williams.

Goodson (pictured above, arriving at the courthouse this morning) had been facing up to 30 years in prison if he were to be convicted of the most serious charge, called second-degree depraved-heart murder.

Justice hasn't been served yet, but at least this is a start.

The city of Baltimore has reached a settlement with the family of Freddie Gray over his wrongful death while in police custody back in April.

The settlement offer of $6.4 million will be voted on by the Board of Estimates, the city's overseer on spending and financial matters, on Wednesday.

However, according to Baltimore's mayor, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, the settlement offer has no bearing on the guilt or innocence of the six officers who are facing a trial over Gray's death. She told reporters:

Rihanna Almost Put On A Free Concert During The Baltimore Protests After Freddie Gray's Death! Find Out Why It Didn't Happen!

This would have been AH-mazing!

Back in April, the city of Baltimore was experiencing protest in the wake of Freddie Gray's death at the hands of city police officers.

While many celebrities showed their support through social media, it's been reported that Rihanna wanted to hold a free concert for the city of Baltimore — and even walk with protesters!

Emails between RiRi's rep and the Baltimore police indicate that the 27-year-old tried to get extra police security at the request of the governor's office.

But a separate email chain between the former police commissioner and the mayor's rep suggest that the songstress's request was ultimately denied because "police are claiming they have no permit so it will not be allowed."

While the BBHMM singer's concert didn't get approved, Prince performed a Rally 4 Peace benefit show in Baltimore in early May.

We can only imagine if RiRi joined forces with Prince on stage, it would have been a concert of epic proportions!

Consider this a bizarre side note in what otherwise is a very important case.

Marilyn Mosby, the city of Baltimore's State Attorney who is prosecuting six police officers over brutality in the death of Freddie Gray, appeared on Judge Judy back in 2000.

The 35-year-old attorney was a college student at Tuskegee University when her television debut happened, appearing before the famous judge to collect money from a neighbor who had trashed her apartment while she was on summer break.

Now, the tune Baltimore is released on SoundCloud, which according to a spokeswoman for the singer:

"Addresses the unrest in Baltimore and the socio-political issues around the country in the wake of a slew of killings of young black men."

Last month, Freddie Gray died from a spinal cord injury while in police custody, igniting protests and riots in the city of Baltimore. Though the song is a call for peace and reflection, the singer declares in the lyrics:

"If there ain't no justice then there ain't no peace."
