TY KU Yuzu-Acai Cooler — Better Than Holiday Punch!

Yuzu-Acai Cooler Blue Ginger Holiday Punch

Tired of boring holiday punch? Us too!

Here's a TY KU creation from Ming Tsai, the Chef at Blue Ginger!

The Yuzu-Acai Cooler has a great berry flavor that's super refreshing. Not overly sweet. It's light as a holiday punch with an extra boost of antioxidants to help get you through the season.

Ingredients:

2 ounces TY KU Soju
1/2 ounce Peach Liquor
3/4 ounce Ginger Syrup* (buy online or make from scratch)
3/4 ounce Acai Juice
3/4 ounce Yuzu Juice (or Lemon Juice)

Mix It:

Shake with ice, pour into tall Collins glass. Top with Soda Water. Garnish with lime wheel.

* To make ginger syrup: Combine 4 cups sugar, 2 cups fresh ginger (cut into ⅛-inch slices), and 2 cups water in a medium saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until syrupy and reduced by half, about 40 to 45 minutes. Strain ginger pieces out and reserve syrup.

Pickle Flavored Candy Canes Sound Astoundingly Gross!

Nothing says the holidays quite like a pickle flavored candy cane, right guys??

Barf!

Not a single human wants these, so we don't even know they exist. Maybe to display them on a shelf and have a laugh about them once in a while. Maybe just as a big middle finger gift to someone you don't really like. Your guess is as good as ours! LOLz!

Here's what the makers say about them, and it's jaw-droppingly weird:

Quickfit Tip Of The Day

white 1

Eat more vegetables with soup!

Vegetable soup is a great way to get more vegetables into your diet without the hassle. When the weather gets colder, its harder to eat a salad than something hot and steamy. I also like to have a pot of vegetable soup in the fridge as a low-calorie and nutritious snack. In a large pot of water, add a variety of your favorite vegetables: I often use cabbage, carrots, peppers, garlic, fennel, squash, fresh herbs - whatever looks good and is on sale. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, and reduce to low until vegetables are soft. Now this is where you can get creative! Garnish with ingredients like salsa, avocado and crushed tortilla chips or parmesan cheese and croutons.

high spirits low calories the saturdays drink recipes

Do you like booze? Of course you do!

Do you hate the calories that comes with booze? OF COURSE YOU DO!

Luckily, we have the Saturdays’ go-to holiday drink recipes that are big on taste and small on the waist!

Here's how to pull it off:

Everyone enjoys the holidays for the family traditions, the changing weather, the gift-giving, but let’s be real, we all know everyone loves a good holiday party. So how do we enjoy the festive foods and bubbly drinks sans guilt?

Frankie’s Peppermint Cosmo:

1 Cup pomegranate juice
Juice of 1 lime
4 oz Vodka
¼ Teaspoon peppermint extract
8 Mini candy canes
2 Tablespoons chopped fresh mint
Calories: 70

Ummmmmmmmmm, YUM!

This sounds so good! Maybe we'll mix one up this holiday season to see if we can get it right before the premiere of Chasing The Saturdays on E! January 20th at 10 p.m.

ty-ku perez hilton special recipes drink alcohol

Hitting the bar is one thing… hitting the bar with Perez Hilton is something totally different (and better!)!!

For one, when we go out, we go out in style. We look fresh to death, and we sip on only the best and custom TY KU cocktails around! Seriously, we dare you to look at the list of Perez-approved drinks above and not want to try all of them!!

Speaking of going out, we recently hit Pieces, Hardware, and Splash to create the bar crawl to end all bar crawls — and the whole thing was caught on video!

Check out some footage of Perezzer hitting the clubs from above… AFTER THE JUMP!

It's been a long few months of looking not impressed for McKayla Maroney, so we're wondering if she figured it was time for something different.

Something more… liberating. Something fresh.

Something impressed!

McKayla tweeted this pic (above) of her trying out the new look — and guess what? We LOVE it!
