How to Apologize to Asian Men: A Practical Guide for Steve Harvey.

The Family Feud host got a bit of heat last week for offensive jokes he made about Asian men on The Steve Harvey Show.

In case you were lucky enough to miss it, the comedian joked about a self-help book called How to Date White Women: A Practical Guide for Asian Men, laughing off the idea that anyone would find Asian men to be sexually desirable.

The 60-year-old received much criticism for his tone deaf jabs — filled with gut-busting punchlines like "I don't even like Chinese food!" (ugh) — and even sparked an open letter from Fresh Off The Boat author Eddie Huang discussing the damaging history of such insulting remarks.

On Tuesday, Harvey spoke out on the criticism and offered an apology to all those who were offended by his words.

Sharing the note on Twitter, the funny man said his jokes were "not meant with any malice or disrespect," writing:

Steve Harvey desperately needs to add some fresh jokes to his repertoire.

Last week, the Family Feud host got heat for an insulting bit on his daytime talk show, in which he skewered Asian men, laughing at the idea of anyone finding them sexually desirable.

Now, Fresh Off the Boat author Eddie Huang is blasting the comedian for jabbing Asian men dating women of another race, calling the jokes in question "upsetting."

On Friday's The Steve Harvey show, the comedian cracked jokes about absurdly specific advice books like How to Date a White Woman: A Practical Guide for Asian Men — but instead of a clever punchline, Harvey just said:

"That's one page. 'Excuse me, do you like Asian men?' ‘No.' ‘Thank you.'"

In an essay for The New York Times, Huang revealed that Harvey's shockingly tone deaf jokes have quite the terrifying history of "the expectations the dominant culture" places on Asian Americans.

The writer said that he became aware of these social constructs at a young age, explaining:

Hooray for diversity!

For the first time since Margaret Cho's show was canceled in 1994, Asian-Americans will finally have representation on a network TV sitcom.

Fresh Off the Boat is an autobiographical comedy about the boyhood adventures of celebrity chef Eddie Huang. Set in the '90s, the ABC show features a Taiwanese-American family that leaves Washington D.C. to open up a steakhouse in the far more homogeneous city of Orlando, Florida.

Hashtag culture shock!

The trailer for the show is friggin' HIGHarious — ch-ch-check it out (above)!

Ha! It even has Randall Park from Veep! We love that dude!

ABC hasn't unveiled a Fresh Off the Boat's premiere date yet, but we sincerely hope a show this diverse finds success!
