A man in Malaysia has caught a 45 lb. frog! According to a source:

“[His] friend offered to buy the frog for RM500 [~$167] but the [man] demanded RM1,000 [~$335] instead. As the friend was not having enough money with him at that time, he went home to get more money” […]

"When my friend returned to the [man's] house with the money, he discovered that the giant frog had been slaughtered and eaten. It was also learnt that the [man] fell ill after consuming the frog and until today, he is still bed-ridden and unable to move around."

We can understand maybe trying to eat it before it eats you, but maybe it would’ve been best to donate it to a museum. Or at least charge people to go for “frog rides.” LOLz.

Oh No!!

According to Scientific American, each year, an average of 2,280 metric tons of frog legs are imported into the United States alone (that's somewhere between 450 million and 1.1 billion frogs)!! Holyshiz.

In “Canapés to Extinction: The International Trade in Frogs' Legs and Its Ecological Impact,” a report (PDF) released July 26 by wildlife conservation groups Pro Wildlife, Defenders of Wildlife and the Animal Welfare Institute, billions of frogs are getting nabbed and sliced in order to appear on the plate each year.

But the international frog trade isn't just criticized for depleting natural frog populations. It also has a hand in spreading chytrid fungus, which is linked to the decline and disappearance of not only frogs, but also other amphibian species.

Save the Frogs, an organization based in Santa Cruz, claims that an estimated 62% of the bullfrogs entering California from frog farms in Asia are infected with the fungus.

It's raining frogs!

Khloe Kardashinan and hubby Lamar Odom house in LA has flooded due to excessive rain, and an army of frogs have since taken up residence in the entrance to her house.

“This rain is crazy! Our bar/pool table room is flooded&Lamar & I spent 20 mins getting FROGS out of our entry way! That was classic! LOL,”

Khloe wrote on Twitter.

“trust me I was screaming but laughing at the same time :) . OMG it was sooooo funny! LOL but apparently frogs love my house. (sic)”

Perhaps Khloe's unmarried sister Kim try kissing them.

During an appearance on Wednesday’s Rachael Ray Show, Jennifer Aniston the foodie bonded over the pressures faced by women over 40 and chatted about life decisions.

When an audience member asked Jenn what career she would have undertaken had she not become an star Aniston revealed she would have enjoyed becoming a doctor.

Jennifer said she might have gotten hung up on surgery seeing as frog dissection in biology class didn’t work out so well.

“The incision into a frog – which I didn’t feel was a good thing to do… I tried to protest, and say, ‘I don’t,’ and they were like, ‘Shut up, please, this is 1980… 5."

“Oh God,” she added. “Date yourself.”
