There's something very touching about all of this!
Candace Cameron Bure is probably best known for her role as a child actor as D.J. Tanner on the sitcom Full House, and recently returned as an adult and with her family to the city in which the show took place, San Francisco, for the first time since filming the opening credits over 20 years ago!
Check out a shot of her and the fam outside of the iconic house with which we all grew up (above)!
She documented the trip via Twitter:
Spending the day in San Fran for Val's birthday and YES, I'm taking the kids to the Full House houses. LOL will tweet a pic on the hill
Ahhhh Ahhh ahhhh ahhhh….. What ever happened to predictability
We're here and this is all the people who are taking pics too- there's even a guide!
It's the first time I've been here since we shot the opening credits.
Everywhere you look……
Look at this. Spending my birthday in SF. Full house style :-)
We had a blast today and topped it off with some ice cream at Ghirardelli Square
So sweet! We're all choked up!
If it's this nostalgic and emotional for US, then we can't even begin to imagine how she felt, being able to bring her children to a place that represented so much to her when she was just their age!
Just wonderful!
Hope you guys had an AMAZING day!
Thanks for sharing it all with us, gurl!
