Bobbi Kristina For The Win! Cissy Houston Lets Her Receive Trust Fund As Whitney Houston Intended!

cissy houston drops legal request to change bobbi kristina trust fund payment plan

Even though Cissy Houston had hoped to prevent Bobbi Kristina from getting her mother Whitney Houston's money, out of fear that such a large amount of money would send her granddaughter down the same path that ultimately took the iconic singer's life earlier this year, it appears that a resolution between the pair has finally emerged!

And ultimately, it's Bobbi Kristina who is taking home the win…and a SERIOUS chunk of change!

Brown was allegedly furious with her grandmother and aunt Pat Houston, who are co-executors of Whitney's estate, after the filed legal documents hoping to alter the distribution of funds so the 18-year-old would not receive "too much too soon," but sources close to the family have revealed that

Farrah Fawcett Foundation Under Investigation For Fraud

Farrah Fawcett

Uh oh, this can't be good.

The California Attorney General's Office of Charitable Trust is investigating the Farrah Fawcett Foundation for potential mismanagement of funds, diversion of assets, and fraud!

The foundation formed in 2009 after Farrah Fawcett lost her long battle with cancer. Its mission is to provide funding for alternative methods of cancer research, prevention, and awareness.

Both the Farrah Fawcett Foundation and the Farrah Fawcett Living Trust, which funds the foundation, had been ordered at some point during the summer to turn over their financial records and estate planning documents within 60 days.

Richard B. Francis, the trustee of the estate and chairman of the foundation, as well as the foundation's president, Alana Stewart, are calling the investigation outrageous, but are being fully cooperative.

It's so sad to see hear of possible fraud in an organization meant to honor the late actress and provide funds to fight the disease that took her life!

We're crossing our fingers that this is just a misunderstanding!

Patient Denied Medicaid To Treat Breast Cancer Because He's A Man!

Raymond Johnson

A North Carolina man is feeling the sexist sting of our federal government.

Raymond Johnson recently received the surprising diagnosis after going to the emergency room for throbbing chest pains — he has breast cancer.

With no insurance, he sought help from federal funds allocated to help people suffering from the disease who can't afford treatment.

Although cancer does not discriminate, Raymond found out our government does. In order to receive Medicaid funds to treat breast cancer, it turns out one must be a woman!

That's pretty silly considering breast cancer in men is not unheard of. Although 100 times less likely to occur, 2,140 men are diagnosed a year with the disease and 450 men lose their lives to it.

The state's Department of Health and Human Services has recognized the problem and has contacted the federal government for help, while Raymond is paying up to $10,000 for each chemotherapy treatment he undergoes to fight the illness.

We really hope the government is as quick as North Carolina to recognize the discrimination, but are a little worried because our bureaucratic government has never been known to be "quick".

American Apparel's New Investor Praises CEO Dov Charney

american-apparel-private-investor-praises-dov-charney.jpg

Remember that little rumor about possible investors wanting to kick American Apparel CEO Dov Charney to the curb?

Welp, apparently that couldn't be further from the truth. In fact, AA's newest lifeline claims Dov was the number one reason why he invested into the struggling clothing company.

Michael Serruya, a private investor from Canada, said of his $15 million investment:

"I think American Apparel is a tremendously strong brand and Dov is a remarkable visionary and entrepreneur. I think he is one of the top trend-setters in America today. I think given the proper resources, American Apparel has the ability to really deliver results."

We hope you're right, Mikey.
