After buying LucasFilm for $4 billion, MTV says they have it "on good authority" that the third largest global media conglomerate is in talks to buy Hasbro too!

Last week we couldn't help but gush over Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's HIGHlariousness during a casual interview, but now we have a new reason to idolize him — he's still in touch with his inner child!

In another casual interview discussing his role as Roadblock in G.I. Joe: Retaliation, the former wrestler revealed his love for action figures as a child 21-year-old man!

Yes! Not only is he playing a G.I. Joe, but the Rock is not afraid to admit he played with them as a kid!

Glad to hear she's back on her feet!

Even though the pilot for the proposed Wonder Woman TV show didn't end up panning out, its star Adrianne Palicki, will be taking on a new beloved superhero - in the upcoming sequel to G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra, called G.I. Joe: Cobra Strikes!

The actress has reportedly signed to play the film's female lead, Lady Jaye, alongside Channing Tatum, Ray Park, RZA, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Meanwhile, sources close to production have revealed that the role of the original G.I. Joe, Joe Colton, has been included in the script, and the studio is eyeing several different actors for the part, including Bruce Willis!

Wow! We wonder if he'd be interested!

The cast of this is coming along rather nicely! Here's hoping it will more than surpass the original!

Yes, G.I. Joe 2 is on its way, and yes, we said it might not be horrible (key word, of course, being MIGHT).

Here are some reasons why G.I. Joe 2 might not be unwatchable…

-Channing Tatum will be returning. That news is bound to bring at least a glimmer of hope.

-Sources say that Zombieland screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are writing the script….and Zombieland was pretty damn awesome.

-Director Stephen Sommers is returning. He’s got to be aware of how people felt about the first film, so maybe he’ll keep the plentiful criticisms in mind whilst directing this one.

-For G.I. Joe fans, you’ll get another opportunity to be re-introduced to characters that you loved from the series.

-It can’t possibly get any worse than the first film.

Will you be able to muster any level of enthusiasm for this sequel?
