The world lost one of its greatest writers as Gabriel García Marquez has just passed away.
The Nobel Prize-winning 87-year-old died from pneumonia, and will be dearly missed.
He was best known for his AH-Mazing works such as One Hundred Years of Solitude, Autumn of the Patriarch, and Love in the Time of Cholera.
Gabriel, known by his endearing nickname Gabo, was hospitalized in Mexico City on March 31st for a lung and urinary tract infection but was released last week. However, a little over a week later, he is unfortunately no longer with us.
Rest in peace, Gabo. Your brilliance has truly left an indelible mark on modern literature.
