So, how would you guys feel if that adorable blonde girl who happened to play Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter series wanted to play the inimitable Britney Spears in a biopic??

Pretty good, right??

We think it's a fab idea — as long as she can ditch the British accent convincingly for that southern drawl!

Here's what Evanna Lynch had to say:

“People laugh when I say this but I would love to play Britney Spears in a movie. She's complicated and I just relate to her. There are so many pop stars out there at the moment and I just think they've just got their image thing so planned to a T. Say, Lady Gaga, I like her and I like her music but I don't relate to her because she has this image and she's weird and perfect, whereas Britney is rich and cool and beautiful, but has also shown her vulnerable side and had a breakdown in front of the whole world. That takes strength and bravery to do that. I just think she's more complicated than people think. Also, I think career wise it would be a big departure from Luna. And I love dance!”

Also, can she pull off the singing??

We'd hope so!

We're almost hesitant to say it, but Lady GaGa might have to move over a bit next week!

That's right, Katy Perry's Part Of Me is on track to do so well that it'll be the biggest debut since Lady Gaga's Born This Way!

That's incredible!

We're talking a projected 400,000 to 420,000 downloads by week's end on Sunday, Feb. 19 — which isn't far off from GaGa's 448,000!!

She can't be stopped!

What's funny is that both Katy and GaGa had similar releases… Katy premiered Part of Me on the Feb. 12 Grammy Awards ceremony, Gaga premiered Born This Way a year ago on the Feb. 13 Grammys — two days after the single hit digital retailers.

It comes down to Katy basically doing the numbers in seven days that GaGa did in three. That's still absolutely impressive!

That's all fab news for Katy, especially because next week's numbers are going to be big for a lot of competition. We're talking Adele after her wins, Whitney Houston, and Nicki Minaj's new song as well.

The Queen of Pop is GREAT for Nightline's ratings! They should invite her back more often!

Last night, Madonna was interviewed on ABC's Nightline (above), where she opened up about claims that Lady GaGa has been copying her from day one.

Now, the ratings have arrived, and it looks like Madge brought in a 3.3/8 rating for Nightline! Wowsa!

What an exciting way to ring in the New Year!

Lady GaGa has announced that she'll be appearing on Japan's super-popular year-end special Kohaku Uta Gassen ("the Red and White Singing Contest")!

The show will air on Japanese national broadcaster NHK, and it will run from 7:15 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. on Dec. 31.
