Straight from the "duh" bin comes the report that Olympians live longer than the rest of us. Seriously, this is according to two recent studies, which cost money. And time.

Who didn't know this already: all of that physical health and training, regardless of sport, results in extra years. The reports also confirm the fact that the best athletes in the world are indeed among the healthiest as well. Nooooo way! LOLz!

Seriously, this is blowing our minds that anyone would look into this. They also found that fitness translates into a survival advantage as well. You've got to be kidding us with this!

Jack Nicholson was spotted with his son Raymond, sitting court side in the same seats he is always in.

Gabby Douglas is way too young and waaaay too talented to not continue her Olympic gymnastics career! Plus, we just love her as a person and she's a joy to watch. Does that make it selfish on our part? Who cares!

We mean, she is the first African-American woman to ever win a gold medal in the Olympics all-around gymnastics competition, and became the first U.S. gymnast ever to receive the individual all-around gold and team gold medals in a single Olympic games.

How do you not try and follow that up?

Luckily, she is!

Though, you'd think they'd want to get all this shizz done BEFORE the lockout hit day 80… you know, because of how ridiculous it is for everyone to lose money like this, and for fans to get screwed out of a season!
