California recently passed a bill mandating the inclusion of historical contributions made by GLBT Americans in textbooks.
Opponents of the bill call it an attack on family. They have already rallied together to enact a statewide vote to overturn the law.
Supporters call it a display of equality. They hope this bill will ease the bullying which have led to suicides in the past.
Bob Beckel, a Fox News commentator and political analyst, supports the bill.

Yesterday, California passed a bill which will "require California public schools to teach the historical accomplishments of gay men and lesbians."
Cali's democratic governor Jerry Brown has not yet announced publicly whether or not he supports the bill, but we'll keep our fingers crossed that everything continues to go smoothly as this bill becomes a law.
