Isn't it 2014? Can't we do away with things like this??
Houston Astros pitcher Jarred Cosart showed his homophobic colors on Monday when he tweeted the worst gay slur of all! To none other than Justin Bieber!
The Biebs may be getting in lots of legal trouble, but he doesn't deserve to be called such an offensive term! Nor does anybody else!
The 23-year-old MLB player was responding to a tweet from Canadian baseball player Tyson Gillies, who said:

How is this still happening? How. Is. This. Still. Happening?!?
There has been a movement over the last couple of years to stop using gay slurs in sports, but apparently it hasn’t been totally accepted in Colorado yet.
Greg Lupfer, the Colorado State defensive line coach was suspended on Monday for two weeks with no pay after using a gay slur at the New Mexico Bowl on Saturday.
The Washington State Cougars QB Connor Halliday had words with Lupfer after he threw a 25-yard touchdown, to which cameras caught Lupfer calling the college Junior a

SO not cool!
Colin Clark, a MLS player on the Houston Dynamo, directed a MAJORLY offensive gay slur at a ball boy during his team's loss to the Seattle Sounders on Friday night.
As you can see in the video above, he runs to the sideline to throw the ball back into play, but when the ball boy rolls the soccer ball at his feet instead of tossing it to him, the midfielder calls the poor guy a

Ugh! When are athletes going to learn that people may not be able to hear them, but they can ALWAYS read their lips!
In yet another example of homophobia in sports, a player on the Philadelphia Flyers, Wayne Simmonds, called New York Ranger Sean Avery a "f*cking f*ggot" during a televised preseason game.
Apparently the two had a scuffle beforehand, like we've come to expect from hockey, but was an offensive homophobic slur really necessary?

Atlanta Braves picthing coach Roger McDowell is facing heat after being accused of asking a group of male fans if they were “a homo couple or a threesome” at a game last weekend.
Attorney Gloria Allred is representing a family of four (with two 9-year-old girls) who are demanding an apology from McDowell after they witnessed him insult the group of men and then use a baseball bat to simulate gay sex.
The family claims that McDowell asked the three male fans, "Are you three giving it to each other in the a**?"
The father confronted McDowell about the incident, to which McDowell responded, "Kids don't f**king belong at the baseball park." McDowell then approached him with a baseball bat, saying, "How much are your teeth worth?"
McDowell should be fired immediately.
This CANNOT be tolerated!
