It looks like the U.S. Tennis Association has some serious explaining to do, and unfortunately our fantasy of the man-candy pictured above just won't answer everything!!
Former umpire Laura Mattson is suing the USTA's Pacific Northwest Section for $5.6 million for gender discrimination and wrongful termination.
According to the lawsuit, she claims she was not allowed to officiate higher ranked events due to her gender, and the jobs were usually given to less qualified males instead.
Laura says she complained about it, and she allegedly got a response from an USTA official that read:
