Michael Shannon Loses His Cool As He Reads Angry Sorority Girl Email! Watch HERE!

WARNING: This video contains extremely explicit language and is NSFW! Seriously, we warned you!

In cased you missed it, an INSANE email written by an angry sorority girl at the University of Maryland has recently been making a splash on the internet as she goes on a potty-mouthed rant and lashes out at her sisters for their awkward behavior during Greek Week!

The letter is overflowed with vulgar language as she hurls insult after insult at the girls, but to be honest with you, reading it off a computer screen doesn't quite do it justice. So the geniuses over at FunnyOrDie.com recruited the help of the brilliant Michael Shannon to read the hilarious email aloud, and the results are AH-mazing!

Ch-ch-check out the actor as he loses his sh*t (above)!

Michael is set to play the villain, General Zod in the upcoming Superman flick, Man of Steel, and this is a PERFECT sneak peek of his evil side as he captures the fury of the enraged sister while sippin' on some booze!

Seriously, we can't decide whether we should be horrified or laughing our asses off, so we'll just go with both! LOLz!!

New Man Of Steel Teaser Has General Zod Giving Us A Blurry Warning! Watch HERE!

Yikes! Talk about some scary stuff!

Last night during the MTV Movie Awards, a new Man of Steel teaser aired and lets just say it was SUPER creepy!

The 30 second TV spot focuses on the bad guy General Zod, who will be played by the BRILLIANT Michael Shannon, as he threatens to make the world suffer unless a certain superhero turns himself in!

Ch-ch-check out the villain's pixilated ominous warning (above)!

If that's not enough to send a shiver down your spine, we don't know what will!

Unfortunately, there's no Henry Cavill in sight, but it's hard to really make anything out in this blurry clip.

Maybe General Zod should consider investing in some better camera equipment for his next warning! LOLz!!

And Superman's General Zod Is…

michael shannon cast as zod in new superman

Last month, we were pleased to report that Boardwalk Empire/Revolutionary Road actor Michael Shannon was up for an unknown villainous role in the new Superman.

Now, Warner Bros has officially announced that Shannon has been cast as baddie General Zod in Superman: Man of Steel!

Here's what director Zack Snyder had to say about Shannon as Zod:

“Zod is not only one of Superman’s most formidable enemies, but one of the most significant because he has insights into Superman that others don’t. Michael is a powerful actor who can project both the intelligence and the malice of the character, making him perfect for the role.”

Despite receiving the Best Supporting Actor Oscar nom for Revolutionary Road in 2008, Shannon hasn't been given that many chances to truly prove himself on the big screen. This will be a major opportunity for him.

Good luck, Michael!

Daniel Day Lewis As General Zod In The New Super-Man Movie???

Wow. From Little Boston to the Phantom Zone.

But if anyone could handle it…

There's a rumor gaining some pretty significant momentum this afternoon about Daniel Day Lewis possibly being up for a role in the new Superman reboot. The source suggests a likely role for DDL is Superman's Kryptonian nemesis, General Zod.

Call us crazy, but we can see it. Daniel's got a Terrence Stamp look to him. Sure would be a fun character for him too.

But would he do it? That's the question!

What do U think?

Zack Snyder's Superman Will Be "Different"

zack snyder says his superman will be different

Zack Snyder is promising us that his version of Superman will be "different" than all the others.

Here's what he's had to say about it:

"It's a different story. I won't say there's a break from the canon or anything like that, but there is definitely an approach that makes you go, 'Okay, that's a way to get at it.'"

More from Snyder on David Goyer's script:

"David is very respectful of the canon and stuff like that. It has its roots in the canon and again, like I say, it has a point of view about who he is. I'm being cryptic, I know, but it's the best I can do."

Here's what Snyder had to say about whether or not the movie will deal with Superman's early years:

"I think it's early to say. I don't know."

While speaking about the film, Snyder also announced that rumors about General Zod being a bad guy are "just wrong," and that "the internet has no idea what's going on."

Inneresting news, Zack. We're not sure exactly what you mean by "different," but we'll be curious to see what that means as you make progress on the film.

Do U think Zack Snyder's Superman will be "different?" How do U think it will deviate from other versions?

New Shiteous Details On The Superman Script!

details-on-superman-reboot-with-zack-snyder

Right on the heels of the announcement that Zack Snyder will be taking the directorial reigns of Christopher Nolan's Superman reboot, details have emerged about David Goyer's script, and it ain't pretty!

According to sources, the story will involve a pre-superhero Clark Kent traveling the world and attempting to decide if he wants to become Superman. The central villain as of now is allegedly General Zod.

Okay…so Smallville with a better production value?? LAME.

Luckily, Snyder apparently shares our sentiments, and was brought in because the studio thinks the current draft of the Goyer's story is "a bit of a mess" and they believe that the 300 director can fix the problems relatively quickly!

He's more known for his style rather than his story, so we certainly hope so!

Time to prove yourself, bb!

What do U think?? Are U excited for the Superman reboot??
