Seth Rogen has new movie about Sega vs Nintendo in the 90s!

Whoa! Did this battle inspire all those fantasy battle games?!

Seth Rogen is set to write & direct a movie about the epic battle between Sega & Nintendo in the early '90s which completely redefined the video game industry!

He will be writing & directing alongside his friend Evan Goldberg, whom he worked with on Pineapple Express, This Is The End, and Superbad!

Sounds exciting!

Reportedly, the film will be based on a book by Blake Harris about the struggle between companies titled: Console Wars: Sega, Nintendo And The Battle That Defined A Generation.

If the past collaborations between the two is any indication, then this movie is set to be HIGHlarious!

We wonder if Jonah Hill, James Franco, and all Seth's other friends will be in the film as well!

We can't wait to see!

home alone 682(1)

Although it's been 23 years since Home Alone came out, unlike his parents, we haven't forgot about Kevin McCallister!

Before Macaulay Culkin hit the Big Apple in Home Alone 2, he played just a simple kid fulfilling every child's fantasy of having complete freedom in their house with no parents to be found!

Aside from making us think that aftershave was the equivalent of acid, the movie taught a generation numerous lessons, which we have taken the liberty of enumerating!

So, sit back, relax, order a pizza, scare the delivery guy with a mobster film, and relive the moments of the film while remembering the immortal truths taught us!

Paris Jackson Disses Her Generation

Paris Jackson Disses Her Generation

Paris Jackson just doesn't know about kids today!

The daughter of the late Michael Jackson just doesn't buy that children are our future. At least, she didn't yesterday morning. She tweeted:

"y'know i would say that our generation could help save the world , but i'd be lying because they're too busy partying smoking & drinking -.- "

Hmm! We wonder if Paris is talking about anyone in particular.

Are her friends going off the deep end? Is big bro Prince starting to experiment?

Or is Paris just disgusted with the kids at her school making bad choices? We agree about the cigarettes and alcohol, especially for kids. Yuck!

But we hope gurl's outlook improves anyway!

And so the next generation of YouTube begins!

The website announced plans yesterday to create dozens of channels with original content from a variety of high profile producers, including Jay-Z, Ashton Kutcher, and Amy Poehler, marking its official jump into professional programming!

And it's not just celebs - Reuters, Electus, Slate and The Wall Street Journal will also be contributing!

According to global head of content partnerships Robert Kyncl:

“Today, the Web is bringing us entertainment from an even wider range of talented producers, and many of the defining channels of the next generation are being born, and watched, on YouTube.”

The new initiative will apparently generate around 25 hours of new content a day, and are expected to launch next year!

Wow! This is a ballsy move!

But if it actually works - we're looking at a whole new way to watch TV! We wonder what this will mean for cable companies?!

Creator Of Skins Quits! What Will Happen To The Series?

jamie-brittain-quits-skins

Aw man! It will be a shame to see him go!

The future of the smash UK series Skins has gone into jeapordy now that it's been announced that series creator Jamie Brittain has called it quits, with a spokesman for the network Channel 4 revealing:

"Jamie has decided after five hit series to move on to write new projects and we wish him well. Skins is written by a team of young writers who are hard at work on the new series which is currently in pre-production."

And Brittain himself elaborates:

"I've just said everything I wanted to say. It's time for new writers to come forward and portray their truth about teenagers. I'm really sad to leave, but I'm confident that the writing and production team I've left behind will do an awesome job."

With him gone, as well as his co-cretor Bryan Elsley having left to work on the American remake, current assistant producer Toby Welch and script producer Neil Ducan have taken over running the next season, but if ratings don't improve, that could be the last!

We certainly hope not! Here's hoping that the new writers can breathe some fresh air into the series, and it will leave to see another generation of disillusioned teens!

What do U think?? Has Skins passed its prime?
