This is heart breaking.

We know you're all still riding high on Kony 2012, but if you learned anything from that massively successful viral campaign, you know that there are MORE international war criminals and they ALL deserve to be punished.

George Clooney took a trip to Sudan's Nuba Mountains last week where people have left their home and are living in caves thanks to Omar al-Bashir's constant attacks on their villages along the volatile boarder of Sudan and South Sudan. While visiting with cameras, the actor witnessed

Kim Addresses Turkish Cosmo Cover Controversy

armenian-group-slams-cosmo-over-kim-kardashian-turkey-cover__opt1.jpg

Kim Kardashian took to her blog on Monday to speak out about her now controversial Cosmo Turkey cover.

The cover girl wrote:

I just found out today that I am on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine in Turkey this month. Cosmopolitan magazine has a number of international editions all around the world that run in various territories, and when I did this shoot for the international covers I had no idea that Turkey was planning to run my story on their cover THIS month, considering Genocide Remembrance Day is this month. My Armenian heritage means a lot to me and I’ve been brought up to be incredibly proud of my family’s background and culture so as an Armenian-American woman it is a huge honor for me to be on the first ever Armenian Cosmopolitan cover (pic above.)

I have an amazing relationship with Cosmopolitan magazine. World-over, Cosmo is known as a fun and inspiring magazine for women of all races, shapes, sizes, regardless of their political beliefs and I really hope that if I can bring awareness to the issue, then this in an accomplishment.

Very professionally put, Kimmy.

Armenian Group Condemns Turkish Cosmo For Featuring Kim K

The Armenian National Committee of America is on the attack after getting wind of Kim Kardashian's Turkish Cosmo cover dramz.

The group's executive director Aram Hamparian said:

"It's disrespectful to Kim Kardashian and to all Armenians for the publishers of Cosmopolitan to use her image, without her permission, on the month we mark Turkey's genocide against the Armenian people. Instead of trying to turn a profit in Turkey by callously featuring a cover photo of a descendant of Armenian Genocide survivors in its April issue, Cosmopolitan should find creative ways to educate its readers about the Turkish government's shameful effort to cover up this atrocity."

So far, the only comment Cosmo has made is:

“Kim Kardashian is one of our favorite cover girls. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph her for the Cosmopolitan editions worldwide."

Kim Kardashian's Fuming Mad Over Turkish Cosmo Cover

Filed under: Icky Icky PooOops!Kim KardashianCosmo

Cosmo has one angry Kardashian on their hands.

The reality star recently appeared on the cover of the mag's Turkish edition, but according to those closest to Kim she was never told about it.

As we all know, Kim is Armenian and has been very vocal about Turkey committing genocide on the Armenian people, which is why she's pissed.

The sources say Cosmo failed to mention the Turkish issue on the list of international covers she'd be appearing on and even if they did, Kim would have never approved.

Sounds to us like mag's got a lot of explaining to do.

George Clooney To The Rescue!

george clooney to keep peace in sudan

Okay, so maybe things didn't go so well when George Clooney tried to play a hero in Batman & Robin, but now it looks like he's getting a second chance in real life.

Yesterday, a group founded by George Clooney announced that it's teaming up with Google, a U.N. agency, and anti-genocide organizations to launch "satellite surveillance of the border between north and south Sudan to try to prevent a new civil war after the south votes in a secession referendum next month."

Here's what Clooney had to say about it:

"We want to let potential perpetrators of genocide and other war crimes know that we're watching, the world is watching. War criminals thrive in the dark. It's a lot harder to commit mass atrocities in the glare of the media spotlight."

We wish U the best of luck with your peacekeeping efforts, George!

Kobe Upsets Famed Lawyer By Representing Turkish Airlines

In case you didn’t know, Kobe Bryant is the new celebrity face of Turkish Airlines, and not everyone is happy about it. Specifically, famed lawyer Mark Geragos (calls himself a “100% Armenian dude”) has denounced Kobe’s decision.

Many scholars argue that starting in 1915, Turks committed genocide and massacred millions of Armenians, and Geragos is saying that Kobe should back out due to those atrocities.

Said Geragos:

"Kobe, as a suite holder, life long Laker fan and 100% Armenian dude, what were you thinking? Kobe must be smoking something

Kobe should take their money and proclaim it was a Genocide. Kobe should also encourage Congress to vote on House Resolution 252 tomorrow declaring it a Genocide.”

Wowsa! Your move, Mr. Bryant.
