Miranda Lambert & George Strait Pay Tribute To Merle Haggard With A Bunch Of Marvelous Music!

Miranda Lambert and George Strait put on a heck of a show at the 2014 Academy of Country Music Awards's tonight!

The two of them paid tribute to country legend Merle Haggard, who turned 77-years-old today!!

Wow!!! That's almost 30 years older than the ACMs itself!!

Way to go, sir!!!

While George and Miranda sadly failed to mention any trucks by make or model, we're pretty sure I'm A Lonesome Fugitive is about a road trip that we're forced to assume took place in a truck! So, there's that!

Miranda and George also performed Merle's Tonight the Bottle Let Me Down and, needless to say, they didn't let us down at all!

Ch-ch-check out their pitch-perfect performances (above)!

Whomp, whomp! Look at him striiiiiide right passed her!

Hey, no worries M! He probably was just lost in the moment! Don't take it personally, girl!

George Strait Aims For Glory With 83rd Top Ten Country Hit

Wow! That is so ridiculously impressive! Kudos to him!

This week, George Strait earned himself his 83rd top ten song on Billboard's Country Songs chart with his new jam, The Breath You Take.

He's only 10 songs away from beating the record set by the late Eddy Arnold in 1980.

Ten songs sounds almost impossible. Then again, so does 83! Maybe he can do it!

Here's hope, George! Congrats on taking one step closer!
