The First Children

We're not crying, YOU ARE!

It seems like just yesterday Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Bush welcomed Malia and Sasha Obama into the White House with open arms as their dad took the Oval Office — a loving demonstration of support and sisterhood that only they can relate to.

Eight years later, we've watched President Barack Obama's daughters turn into wonderful young ladies, and George W. Bush's children are reaching out to cheer them on as they embark on this unique transition into "normal" life.

We can't imagine it's easy growing up at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.!

During a time when we need way more compassion, it's wonderful to see some kindness and unity (even across party lines)!

The Bush sisters said:

"Take all that you have seen, the people you have met, the lessons you have learned, and let that help guide you in making positive change. We have no doubt you will."

You're definitely going to watch what advice the Today Show correspondent and the Global Health Corps founder had to offer (below)!

Donald Trump has been struggling to get stars to appear at his upcoming inauguration later this month, with A-listers left and right refusing to perform at his presidential celebration.

Though he won't be rubbing elbows with the likes of Beyoncé and Jay Z, the President-election managed to get one high profile couple to attend the event…

That's right! As if Trump's inauguration couldn't get more awkward, his former election rival and her former President husband are attending, both their aids confirmed to CNN on Tuesday.

We can't imagine HRC will speak at Trump's swear-in, but we're sure she'd like to get in a few jabs about winning the popular vote by almost 3 million ballots.

However, the Clintons won't be the only former White House couple in attendance, as

Singer QUITS The Mormon Tabernacle Choir Over Donald Trump Inauguration Performance — See Her Heated Resignation Post!

In terms of musical performances, Donald Trump's inauguration is turning out to have as much entertainment as a Ku Klux Klan parade.

Not only was the President-elect unable to secure any headlining talent for his upcoming swear-in (nothing against 2010 America's Got Talent runner-up Jackie Evancho, but she's certainly no Beyoncé), but he can't even get a full choir to sing in his honor!

A member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir says she has resigned from the famed vocal group over its decision to perform at Trump's inauguration next month.

On Thursday, Jan Chamberlin shared her resignation letter to choir leaders on Facebook, saying that the 360-member group would appear to be "endorsing tyranny and facism [sic]" by performing at the upcoming inaugural.

Chamberlin, who has been with the choir for five years, said the group's participation in the inauguration would "severely damage" its "image and networking," and that singing for Trump would go against her morals. She added:

Another Electoral College Member Refuses To Cast His Vote For Donald Trump — See What The 9/11 First Responder Has To Say!

He'll have a hard time blaming illegal voters this time around.

Last month, an electoral college member announced he was resigning from his position out of refusal to vote for Donald Trump during the upcoming Texas electors meeting.

Now, it looks like another Texas elector is refusing to vote in the President-elect — and this elector would rather be faithless than unemployed!

Texas Republican Christopher Suprun, one of the 538 electors set to cast a ballot for the next POTUS on December 19, explained why he won't be voting for Trump in an opinion piece for The New York Times.

The conservative insists that his swerve has nothing to do with Trump's "policy disagreements" or because Hillary Clinton won the popular vote — instead, Suprun simply won't elect someone "who shows daily he is not qualified for the office."

Playing a significant part in Suprun's perspective is his role as a firefighter and first responder to the 9/11 attacks, in which he remembered

President Barack Obama Addresses The Nation After Donald Trump's Shocking Presidential Win!

no title

Our country seems more divided than ever before, but it looks like the civil rest is just beginning in the wake of Donald Trump's shocking presidential win.

Earlier today, Hillary Clinton addressed her supporters in a somber concession speech, but even her usually powerful words did little to mend the disappointment of those expecting a MUCH different outcome to this exhausting Presidential race.

Now, President Barack Obama is addressing the nation, and he tried his very best to be uplifting in the wake of the most stunning upset in political history.

Speaking from the White House, Obama revealed he called up Trump to congratulate him on last night's victory, assuring he would provide a smooth transition for his successor as George W. Bush's team did for him eight years ago. He said:

"Everybody is sad when their side loses the election, but the day after we have to remember that we're all on one team. It's an Intramural scrimmage. We're not Democrats first, we're not Republicans first. We're Americans first. We're patriots first."

Though he spent most of election season telling voters that a Trump White House was dangerous, Obama recognized the President-Elect's stance on "unity" was indeed the direction the country needs to head towards, adding:
