The wife of Lord of the Rings actor Sean Bean has filed for divorce at London's High Court, citing irreconcilable differences.

This doesn't come as much of a surprise as the couple's marriage has been under scrutiny after an argument between the pair turned violent.

Within just months of exchanging vows, Sean was accused of abuse after wife Georgina Sutcliffe called the police during a domestic dispute. Sean was arrested, however Georgina dropped the case. Soon after, the couple even announced that they were trying to have a baby.

Yes, because having a baby solves everything!!!

This divorce is probably a good thing for both of them. Maybe marriage just isn't in the cards for Sean.
