Dan Aykroyd Pulled Over For Speeding…While On His Way To A Race

dan aykroyd pulled over for speeding

At least he wasn't drinking Crystal Head Vodka and driving…

Yesterday morning, Dan Aykroyd was pulled over for speeding while ironically driving over to the Honda Indy Toronto race, for which he was the grand marshal.

Here's what Dan had to say about his incident:

"You know when you see these races, you want to get into your vehicles and drive home and you do it trying to imitate the driver. That won't be me this afternoon."

Fortunately for Dan, he was let off with a warning as long as he promised the officer that he would convince Bill Murray to do Ghostbusters III.

…Okay, so that's not actually true about GB III…but we figured we'd take this time to remind Dan Aykroyd that we're STILL waiting for that movie to happen!!!!

Bill Murray Comments On Ghostbusters 3!

GB3 Update From Murray

We have some mixed news from Bill Murray being on Stern this morning.

The good news is this: He has the Ghostbusters 3 script.

The bad news is this: He hasn't read it yet.

So, someone call George Clooney, because this movie is still Up In The Air! LOLz!

Murray:

"Yeah, I guess I’m the problem. Before I was an asset, [but] now I’m a problem. There’s a script somewhere [on my desk], but I haven’t read it yet."

Stern then asked bluntly if Murray even had any interest in it.

Murray continues:

"Well, I’ll get to it… I gotta get to it – I feel bad. I got a message and I think people – I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings – it’s not the foremost thing in my mind, so I don’t think about it.

You know, the studio gets excited every 10 years or so. What they’d really like to do is recreate the franchise. I remember when the new Ghostbusters was going to be Chris Rock, Chris Farley and Chris Crane… Kris Kringle… someone [laughs] – that had it together."

So, there you have it folks, there's your GB3 update!

Sorry it wasn't something about how they secretly already shot it and it's coming out this weekend! That'd be FAB!

What's the hold up, Bill? There's no way you're so busy that you have zero time to read it!

We hope to hear more about this soon!

Thoughts??

Some Ghostbusters 3 Progress! Bill Murray Has Probably Read The Script!

bill murray may have read ghostbusters 3 script

Last month, we learned that the Ghostbusters 3 script had been sent to Bill Murray.

Now, it looks like Murray has finally read the script, and director Ivan Reitman is waiting to hear back from him.

Here's what Reitman had to say about it:

"He's seen it and we're waiting to hear."

We REALLY hope he read it and loved it!

…Then again, if he actually read the script was enthusiastic about the script, you'd think he would have already gotten in touch with Reitman. They sent him it over a month ago.

Guess we shall see…

Do U think Bill Murray will like the Ghostbusters 3 script? Or is this project never going to happen?

ghostbusters-3-script-is-good.jpg

Yes!!

According to Ivan Reitman, producer and director of the first two Ghostbuster movies, a third Ghostbuster film is closer to becoming a reality.

The director/producer says that the third installment has "a very good script," and the good news is, it's already been sent to Bill Murray!

He also adds that "it's good enough to do, to take the risk of doing again."

Sweet! Let's hope Murray reads the script and loves it!

We need to see him doing comedy again!

P.S. What's Ernie Hudson up to these days??

Bill Hader And Anna Faris Did NOT Know They Were Being Considered For Ghostbusters 3

bill hader and anna faris had no idea they were being considered for ghostbusters 3

Have you been drinking a bit too much of that Crystal Head vodka, Dan Aykroyd?

Last month, Aykroyd confirmed that Bill Hader and Anna Faris were under consideration for roles in Ghostbusters 3, but neither of them knew ANYTHING about it.

Here's what Bill Hader has to say about his Ghostbusters involvement:

"I heard about it the same way you guys did! I went online and was like, ‘Woah! Cool!’ All my friends were calling, ‘Are you gonna be in Ghostbusters 3?’ I obviously am very flattered, but I don’t know anything about it."

Anna Faris has also said that she hadn't been contacted about the film, but she's made it clear that she'd love to do it.

Maybe Dan called both of them, but GHOSTS answered, mimicking their voices!

Who knows, maybe WEIRD stuff will start happening around this film, kind of like how the movie Poltergeist was cursed. LOLs.

Ghostbusters 3 Dramz! Ernie Hudson Blames Bill Murray For Delays!

ernie hudson blames bill murray for ghostbusters 3 delays

We'd love to see this movie happen, but we're glad to hear that Bill Murray has taken a leadership role with quality control!

Fellow Ghostbuster Ernie Hudson, who recently finished work on Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2, blames Murray for delays in progress with his paycheck Ghostbusters 3.

Here's what Hudson had to say about it:

"Dan and Harold are working on the script. If it happens we will see but Bill has been the hold up. His definition of good is a little bit different than everybody elses. So we will see, I would love to see it happen. I know the fans have been asking for it … so hopefully."

More from Hudson:

"Bill's a great guy, he's kind of quirky but I love him. He's a guy who is very much into what he's feeling. I know he really cares about his work, which is probably why there hasn't been another Ghostbusters as of yet."

So, does that mean you don't care about your work, Ernie? That's kind of a shocker! We assumed Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins Ball, and Dragonball: Evolution were passion projects for you!

We're just as excited as everyone else for a new Ghostbusters, but if we have to wait a bit longer for a quality film…we're okay with that!

What do U think? Would U prefer to wait for a quality film, or should they just work with what they've got?

Dan Aykroyd Re-Writing Ghostbusters 3 Script

dan aykroyd rewriting ghostbusters 3 script while promoting crystal head vodka

Hooray for another Ghostbusters 3 update! Good to see the project staying alive. If we could only get an Arrested Development update, then we'd be golden!

As far as Ghostbusters 3 news is concerned, the latest update is that Dan Aykroyd is working on a new draft of the script, while he travels around the U.S. and promotes his Crystal Head Vodka from his RV.

Good thing Aykroyd is getting going on a new draft of the script, because Bill Murray was not a fan of the previous draft.

Here's what Aykroyd had to say about it:

"I think he was concerned that the writing on Ghostbusters 3 by these guys would not be up to standard, but I can tell you firsthand, I'm working on the script now and those two - Stupnitsky and Eisenberg, wrote Bill the comic role of a lifetime, and the new Ghostbusters and the old are all well represented in it…we have a strong first draft that Harold [Ramis] and I will take back, and I'm very excited about working on it."

More from Aykroyd on the new movie:

"Look, Hollywood is in love with any kind of nostalgia that can prove itself to be commercial. But it has to evolve. Now [in Ghostbusters 3] my character's eyesight is shot, I got a bad knee, a bad hip-I can't drive that caddy anymore or lift that Psychotron Accelerator anymore, it's too heavy. We need young legs, new minds-new Ghostbusters; so I'm in essence passing the torch to the new regime, and you know what? That's totally okay with me."

Keep going with that script, Dan! If selling alien-skull-shaped bottles of vodka gives you ample time to write, then keep selling those bottles and keep writing!

And bring back Rick Moranis, if you can. We'd love to see his triumphant return!

Are U excited for crystal head vodka the new Ghostbusters movie?
