Caitlin Stasey

Hollywood's not always an easy place to be, especially as a woman.

Caitlin Stasey — who is known for her role on CW's Reign — opened up and stripped it down in a new installment of StyleLikeU's What's Underneath series released on Monday. As she shares her story, the actress removes articles of clothing to show that style isn't about clothes.

The 25-year-old beauty opens the video by sharing her personal experience of degradation as a female in the entertainment industry:

"In this town, you constantly have to undermine yourself to appease other people. This idea of being low maintenance, chill, and ‘cool with anything' — we've instilled that in young woman just to make lives easier for the men that want to treat them horribly."

In fact, the Australian native claims to have been harassed by an unnamed agent who relentlessly would call her cell phone:

Rose McGowan Clarifies Her Criticism Of Caitlyn Jenner — 'I Am Not, Nor Will I Ever Be, Transphobic'

But Rose doesn't think Caitlyn should be 'immune from criticism.'

Rose McGowan didn't hold back in her expletive-filled criticism of Caitlyn Jenner's acceptance speech for Glamour's Woman of the Year award, even though she did delete it.

The 42-year-old had written on Monday that she felt the former Olympian wasn't embodying the title "by a long f*cking shot" after the reality star said the hardest part about being a female was deciding what clothes to wear.

But on Tuesday, the actress took to Twitter to clarify her comments, saying that they didn't come from a place of bigotry, just a place of frustration, writing in a note:

"Let me take this moment to point out that I am not, nor will I ever be, transphobic. The idea is laughable. Disliking something a trans person has said is no different thank disliking something a man has said or that a woman has said. Being trans doesn't make one immune from criticism."

The Charmed alum acknowledged that it must be difficult being the 66-year-old, but explained that she was angry because she wanted the I Am Cait star to use her celebrity to fight inequality, rather than perpetuate stereotypes, adding:

Lena Dunham Opens Up About Her Long Battle With Endometriosis & How The Diagnosis Changed Her Life Forever

Lena Dunham

Lena Dunham knew something was wrong from her very first period.

In the eighth installment of the 29-year-old's newsletter Lenny Letter, the Girls creator pens an intimate look into her painful struggle with what has now been diagnosed and treated as endometriosis — a disorder that causes the lining of the uterus to grow outside of the uterus.

This condition led to severe vaginal bleeding, nonstop cramps, exhaustion, mood swings, painful sex, among other health factors.

The actress revealed:

"From the first time I got my period, it didn't feel right. The stomachaches began quickly and were more severe than the mild-irritant cramps seemed to be for the blonde women in pink-hued Midol commercials. Those might as well have been ads for yogurt or the ocean, that's how little they conveyed my experience of menstruating."

Doctors failed to diagnose the disorder all the way through production of the first season of Girls:

Rose McGowan SLAMS Caitlyn Jenner's Glamour Acceptance Speech — 'Woman Of The Year? Not By A Long F*cking Shot'

Rose McGowan and Caitlyn Jenner

Glamour mag's decision to make Caitlyn Jenner Woman of the Year continues to come under fire.

Shortly after the husband of Moira Smith — an NYPD officer who died on 9/11 — returned his late wife's award in protest of Jenner receiving the same honor, Rose McGowan is also voicing her opinions against the controversial decision.

In a Facebook post on Monday (which has since been deleted), the 42-year-old criticized the I Am Cait star for saying the "hardest part about being a woman is figuring out what to wear" in her acceptance speech at the ceremony on November 9.
