Stanford Rape Survivor Breaks Her Silence On Brock Turner's Sentence As She's Named Glamour's Woman Of The Year! Read Her Powerful Essay!

no title

Brock Turner became the nefarious poster boy of rape culture and victim blaming this year after sexually assaulting an unconscious woman at Stanford University and receiving an embarrassingly light jail sentence for his crime.

Though Turner only spent a measly three months behind bars, his crime transcended the courtroom thanks to the words of the young woman he violated, who penned a now-viral statement condemning her rapist's actions.

This brave assault survivor, identified only as Emily Doe, was named Glamour's Woman of the Year. In a new essay published by the mag, she recounts the aftermath of the rape and Turner's light sentencing.

Here's What Taylor Swift Supposedly Thinks Of Demi Lovato's Latest Controversial Comments!

Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato

The drama continues.

Yesterday we told you Demi Lovato slammed Taylor Swift (yet again) for basically being a fake-feminist and the Bad Blood singer's role in "tearing Katy Perry down" in a recent interview with Glamour.

The Body Say singer even went as far to criticize T. Swift's "squad" by saying none of the 26-year-old's friends have "normal" bodies — which she thinks presents a "false image of what people should look like."

A source close to the Shake It Off songstress tells E! News that Tay thinks the whole thing is "unnecessary":

"Taylor has a tight group of women in her life that all have her and each others' back and sometimes people just want that. She thought it was unnecessary for her to make those comments. They both have never been really good friends."

You can say that again.

So basically, the newly-single celeb would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that she has never asked to be a part of… LOLz!

Unapolegetic Demi Lovato *Tries* To Explain Her Controversial Comments About Taylor Swift!

Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato

As you've probably heard by now, Demi Lovato slammed Taylor Swift (once again) for pretty much being a fake-feminist and the Bad Blood singer's role in "tearing Katy Perry down" in new interview with Glamour.

When asked by the interviewer about her past comments about T. Swift claiming to be a feminist, but not actually "doing the work," Demi responded:

"I think in certain situations, certain people could be doing more if they're going to claim that as part of their brand. To be honest, and this will probably get me in trouble, I don't see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body. It's kind of this false image of what people should look like. And what they should be like, and it's not real."

Later, the Confident songstress said:

"I think that having a song and a video about tearing Katy Perry down, that's not women's empowerment."

After receiving some backlash on Twitter, the 24-year-old tried to explain her controversial statements.
