It's Go-Go Appreciation Day! Whoo!
On Saturday, October 29, businesses up and down the Sunset Strip and Santa Monica Blvd will be celebrating Go-Go style in honor of the city's most beloved party people.
Mayor Pro Tempore Prang can't wait for the celebration, exclaiming this event will "bring members of the community together to celebrate West Hollywood’s rich and vibrant history."
Councilmember John D'Amico enthusiastically says:
Go-Go Dancer Appreciation Day is about celebrating the part of our West Hollywood culture that arrived with the freedom generation and stuck around through the decades as an expression of who we are.
We can't wait! See everyone there!!!!
