She was nominated for an award for her role in the TV movie Game Change after all!

Then came a moment of panic… after holiday feasting she realized she might not be able to fit into that dress!!

That must've been terrifying! So she did all she could do: she went on a panic crash diet.

Octavia Spencer, a Golden Globe-winning actress from The Help, hung courtside with Big Bang Theory's Johnny Galecki at the Lakers game on Tuesday night.

It looks like they had a blast because the actors were all smiles all night! Well actually, Octavia had a full range of facial expressions throughout the game against the Charlotte Bobcats, but no matter how dramatic, they seemed to be all in good fun.

The Lakers beat crushed their opponents 106-73 and Octavia may soon be doing the same in the Academy Award category for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. After winning both a Globe and SAG Award for her performance as a maid in The Help, she's one of our favorites to win the Oscar!

We're not sure if he needed to at all, but George Clooney has quit drinking after winning best actor at the Golden Globes!

He said:

Hmmm! We thought they quit!

But we guess that isn't the case, because between Golden Globes parties, both Angelina and Brad were spotted smoking cigarettes in an alley outside the Hilton!

Gross!

Not only that, but they were still in their glamourous outfits, which probably now reek of tobacco! EW!

If you're gonna quit, quit! Especially for your kids!

Well this year the menu sounds absolutely delish!

Executive chef Suki Sugiura and pastry chef Thomas Henzi of the Beverly Hilton Hotel will be whipping it up, and unveiled the menu for all to see!

Claire Danes wowed everyone when she stepped onto the Golden Globes red carpet wearing a lovely pink dress. She looked so good people couldn’t help but ask how she did it.

Said Danes:

"I said before, it's annoyingly obvious: sleep, exercise, eating real foods."

Claire also talked about her new years resolutions:

"What is my resolution? I always like to return phone calls. To be a better person and friend"

Um, we sort of love her right now. Simple yet true health advice AND she’s a good person!!
