However, the family forgot one very important member of their clan…

Their adorable golden retriever!

On Monday, Ben Affleck flew into Atlanta via a private jet to bring the canine to the kids!

Now that's what we call a true superhero!

The 42-year-old hunk carried the woofer like a baby, as he donned a blue t-shirt, a burgundy sweatshirt, his signature scruff, AND his wedding ring.

While the Argo actor seems to be loving his four-legged friend, their relationship wasn't always perfect.

The Affleck family adopted the furry pal in May and according to sources, there was drama at the adoption center!

Not only did the famed director snap at Miz Garner for allowing their kids to play with a litter of puppies, he was reportedly really rude to a female volunteer!

GASP!

Fast forward to now, it seems like Ben and the dog are getting along just fine!

This dog brought new meaning to "man's best friend" when he saved his blind owner.

The service dog threw himself in front of the mini-bus to protect his owner.

Wow!

The bus still hit them both, but she and her pup are currently recovering.

Figo is in a splint after his leg was reportedly cut down to the bone, but he is "on the mend and doing extremely well," according to an employee at Middlebranch Veterinary.

Meanwhile, Audrey is being treated at Danbury Hospital for a broken ankle, elbow, and three fractured ribs.

We can't imagine what would have happened if Figo hadn't responded so heroically! We applaud his bravery and are glad he and Audrey are on the road to recovery!

When Allison Marks didn't hear back from the store a few hours after she dropped off her dog Colby, she grew worried.

The pet owner called the store and was told to meet Petco's assistant manager at a nearby animal hospital. When she got there, she found out that Colby had died during his grooming after accidentally being left in the store's drying cage for too long.
