Well, it took long enough!
IsAnyoneUp?, the infamous hateful revenge porn website where internet users could anonymously post nude pictures of people they wanted to publicly humiliate has finally been shut down.
This vindictive, malice driven, DISGUSTING website was seriously wearing out its welcome. Anderson Cooper campaigned to shut it down. Even Facebook tried, but failed.
Finally, it was announced that the anti-bullying website Bullyville paid the original website creator, Hunter Moore, an undisclosed sum of money for the rights of the domain name, and the intention to shut the website down forever.
Here's what Hunter Moore had to say about it:
"I'm just done with looking at little kids naked all day. I'd get at least 50 or 60 underage kids a day. It wasn't just 17-year-old girls. It was 12-year-olds and 9-year-olds. It definitely got old looking at that stuff every day."
This website was absolutely deplorable!
But we are glad that Moore has taken the necessary steps to rehabilitate his life.
It will take a long time for all the pain and suffering he caused to go away, but this is a good start.
We truly hope Moore dedicates his time and energy to worthwhile causes instead of hurting people.
Here's what Moore said about his website shutting down:
"Anybody that was ever posted, where it's been ruining your life or your job, everything is completely wiped. You're good."
