This isn't too surprising; it's just downright sad.
Disney Channel was in talks of creating an episode that would introduce a lesbian couple on their hit show since last year and while some celebs were super stoked in this amazing move by the big network, others weren't so happy about it.
The conservative group, One Million Moms, is infamous for urging folks to boycott against things in the media and obviously Disney Channel's Good Luck Charlie wasn't safe from its clutches!
Especially since their most recent episode featured a couple comprised of two moms!
It's so sad that something so innocent as love between two people would spark unnecessary dramz.
In a statement, the conservative group said:

This is SO scary!
We wonder if the recently added same sex couple on this show has something to do with this hate???
Good Luck Charlie's star Mia Talerico is only 5-years-old, and yet she's been the target of some scary threatening messages which her parents and the police are taking VERY seriously!
The adorable girl, who plays Charlie Duncan on the show, received one message on Instagram last month that read:

We were so excited last summer when we first heard that Disney was putting its first same sex couple on a children's TV show.
Well, guess what, kids? The future is now!
Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to meet Cheryl and Susan, Good Luck Charlie's newest parents!
OMG, we LOVE how they don't even make a big deal! No one is uncomfortable or confused! It just shows you how far we've truly come!
Spectacular job, Disney! Now let's talk lesbian princesses…

MileyBird is all for same-sex marriages!!!
Nestled between an endless barrage of requests to click on her weirdly addictive video for We Can't Stop, the artist formerly known as Hannah Montana gave props to her former channel getting down with the times!!!
On Friday we told you Disney decided to feature a same-sex couple on the new season of their hit show Good Luck Charlie, and we thought that was wonderful news!!
As it turns out, Miley Cyrus agrees!!
The entertainer responded to one of Evan Rachel Wood's tweets on the subject, and broke into a mini-rant on the responsibility of Disney to promote acceptance to a variety of lifestyles, especially considering the network is so influential with children!

Disney Channel is taking one seriously BIG step forward!
The network will be featuring a same-sex couple for the first time on an episode of their family show, Good Luck Charlie. Set to air next year as part of the final season, the episode will feature two moms and their kids!

It pays to get spanked!
Disney just handed over a TON of cash to a lady that got slapped on the ass while attending a taping Good Luck Charlie with her children.
Earlier this year Kellie Rodriguez sued Micky Mouse's corp claiming that Good Luck Charlie's warm-up guy Ron Pearson spanked her and kissed (on the lips!) as part of his "family-friendly" audience entertainment between takes.
Sources say Mz. Rodriguez was paid somewhere between $20,000 and $30,000 to keep her red butt out of the courtroom.
As for Ron "Ladies Love" Pearson…. he is still doing warm up for Good Luck Charlie! We kinda love that.
We always knew that mouse had a dirty sense of humor! HA!
