The designer described the 80 piece S/S 2013 collection as "Neo Coco", which is a more youthful and fresher spin on the fashion house's founder Coco Chanel.
Unkle Karl explained:
"It’s nothing [to do] with minimalist. But suddenly, we had the mood of clean. And fresh, light, but not shapeless. It’s about proportion, different volumes. For me, it’s completely refreshed."
The theme of energy was also prevalent in the Grand Palais as models weaved through the wind turbines lining the solar panel catwalk.
As for the clothes, they were exactly what you'd expect: classy and fabulous.
